Me, monthly:

>100 for groceries
>30 dollars for cellphone
>700 for rent and all utilities

umm, yeah, that's pretty much it. I buy bus tickets too I guess, but anyway, just round it up to 1000 and I make about twice that a month. I live very comfortably doing next to nothing. No netflix subscriptions, or xbox live or any random crap like that. I save so much money because I have a two tier savings system. The buffer account and the real account. If my buffer account gets too full as it usually does, I roll it over into the real savings that I never touch. If something happens I need money for, first I would use my day to day account, and if that doesn't cover it, I take it out of the buffer account.

If that's all you do then you need to find something to put worth in. That's about my budget and I make agonist triple that.
I spend most of my money on traveling internationally.

Well, I was going to go somewhere, but I got a 2000 bill out of the blue, so enh. I might take a break soon though and do something. But I'm not overly concerned with travel. I'm trying to get a job that actually pays well, even though I don't technically need it, but can't work a layabout job forever even if I have everything I need currently.

If I did go somewhere, maybe the next city over to the prostitute tower.

I spend 200 at wal-mart at a time, but that lasts me 2 months.I buy about fifty dollars worth of ground beef, twenty dollars of salmon, 50 dollars of instant noodles, maybe, thirty bucks of other kinds of pasta, and then stuff like cheese and frozen vegetables and salsa and spices and hot sauce.

I really only eat one meal, but I vary it enough.

Meat + pasta + vegetables, but I always change the pasta and the meat and the preparation method so I am not sick of it yet.

And I make no money my parents pay for it all. God bless their gentle souls

Why don't you work?

If you just go to college without trying to build your work experience you will graduate into starbucks making coffee.

You should be doing internships and the like.

Mostly post on 4chan and watch anime. I like to write, but it's hard to make myself do that. I gave up forcing myself on the hopes that I would just write when I felt like it, but I never do.

Maybe I should go back to forcing me to do it. I can really throw myself into problems though if I get interested. A few days ago I read about a court case and came up with an alernate possible series of events that I don't think anyone considered.

That isn't very "normie" of him.

But I don't want to work for Mr. Shekelstein without pay.

By law internships have to pay you with either money or college credit (and if they are for college credit, it has to be the equivalent with real course work)

I make about 400 a month at most so my parents cover most rent as long as I stay in uni and I cover my internet and food

$3000/month income

$450 - rent+utilities
>protip: this should be 30% max of your monthly income, give or take a few percentage points. paying 50% or more for rent is doing it wrong.

$60 - car insurance
$50 - phone
$200 - various debt

I'm paid twice a month. All of my expenses are paid for by the first check. All of the second check is disposable income.

I plan to finance a new car, BUT only when I've saved almost enough to buy it outright. I only want to make 3-5 monthly payments on it. And I plan to find a dealership that will accommodate that. Not 18 months. Not 36 months. Fuck that. I'll drive my 2001 Accord until the wheels fall off.

I rent at the moment. I plan to buy a home in the next few years. Since my new job and new professional qualifications will give better job opportunities.

I buy most of my clothes from Gap, Target, and JCPenney. I don't buy many electronics. My phone is an iPhone 4s - I'm literally only upgrading because apple is phasing out all support for this phone and 4G network is better. I play musical instruments, but I keep a few trusty instruments instead of constantly buying new stuff. My biggest monetary vice is eating out. As long as I can get a good pizza or sushi or a steak (to-go, obviously), I'm happy.

Around $500-600 a month on bills and shit
I make between $600-800 a month at work
It's pretty shit. Most of my leftover money goes to groceries. I don't really have any leftover for luxuries.

Whatever is left at the end of each month goes to an S&P fund.
