Do any robots have HIV ? How and what is life like ?
>>
How would a robot get HIV?
>>
>>35365830
No but one time I thought I had it because I couldnt get tested so I researched how people with HIV live and basically life sucks

turned me to abstinence T B H
>>
>>35365830
I do
I have to take pills every day. That's about it, really.
>>
>>35365842

born with it from their whore Stacey mom obviously.
>>
>>35365849

do you even bother trying to date people ?
>>
>>35365849
Howd you get it dildo?
>>
>>35365869
didn't bother before and still don't bother now
>>35365897
was addicted to heroin. Shared needles. Stupid stuff.
>>
>>35365849
How expensive are the pills?
>>
>>35365830
I contracted it in 2011. How? Unprotected sex. There has been some nasty moments, but for the last two years I haven't had any problem at all. In 2011 I had neurotoxplamosis and got my shit fucked hard but I recovered. In 2014 I had a powerful bowel infection which took me back to the hospital.
Since then I've been fine, responding ok to the medicines. I take 2 pills a day. There are some side effects but nothing major. As I was always thin, lipodystrophy passed right through me. Some psychological effects in the beginning but I think it has stabilized so far. And that's it. I try to think positively about the disease. I had Chronic depression since I was 16, so many people including my psychiatrist thought the hiv would be the nail to the coffin. But curiously as much as I hated my life prior the disease, I've managed it better than I thought. I think it gave me the will to survive and to try my best to live life. I'm failing miserably on that aspect, but I don't think that's because of aids. It's more about personal choices that came before the incident.
>>
>>35365967
I don't really know. I get them for free.
>>
>>35366038
Oh, neat. So it's not that bad, then? Or are the pills just delaying the inevitable?
>>
>>35365967
Not that poster, I'm the one beneath you. But I live in a civilized country that provides for the health of its citizens. Public Health system here is a bit chaotic for simple daily stuff, but when it comes to serious injures and diseases, it actually works wonderfully. So I don't really have to pay for my treatment. As a matter of fact, If I recall correctly, my country is the world's first regarding public AIDS treatment, even though we are "third worlders".
>>
>>35365947
>he doesn't just get an asexual gf
>>
>>35366069
Currently the life expectancy of the HIV positive individual that doesn't fail to perform the treatment is 7 years shorter than the healthy person's. So very very technically it's delaying the inevitable, but it's delaying it for so long that you actually get to live a normal life.
>>
>>35366132
do you required by law to disclose your condition?
>>
>>35366145
>disclose
I don't know what that word means.
>>
>>35366179
How do you not know what disclose means? And why wouldn't you take literally three seconds to look it up?
>>
>tfw bugchasing fetish
I should fucking kill myself. I hate myself. I'm fucking worthless.
>>
>>35365830
Yeah, feel for the gay meme
Cannot afford drugs, so probably going to die soon
>>
>>35366215
I'm not american nor British, English is not my mother tongue, it's actually my third language. Do I have the right not to know what a word means?
>>
>>35366215
It's clear he is not a native English speaker, dumbass

Thus why he gets his HIV meds for free, whereas in our GLORIOUS BURGERLAND we get to pay hundreds maybe thousands a month for HIV meds
>>
>>35366082
>not realizing aids can spread through micro cuts

If you brush your teeth and your girl brushes hers, then you two kiss, she can get aids
>>
>>35366219
How does it feel to have reached the peak of degeneracy?
>>
>>35366245
Yes, but you do not have the right to remain ignorant on the internet.
The internet is literally the cure for ignorance
>>
>>35366179
means do you have to tell people your condition as it is or can you legally conceal it?
I'm the anon that asked you the initial question

I'm also not a native speaker so i got your back
>>
>>35366017
>neurotoxplamosis
That's the Shkreli disease, did you take daraprim?
>>
>>35366271
I'm now making the conscious choice of not looking for the knowledge required to understand your question. Either you give me that knowledge, or your question will remain unanswered and you will have to deal with it.
>>
>>35366319
I wasn't even the anon that asked a question. Just another anon pointing out your stupidity, brainlet
>>
>>35366319
I'm glad you got aids
>>

It's a tricky subject that has already entered in courtrooms.
Willingly, purposely infecting someone with a disease (any disease for that matter) is a crime. But that's the key point: willingly. There's no law that forces a person to confess their health conditions to a sexual partner. So there are cases of people who tried lawsuits because they got venereal diseases through sex with people who knew they had it, but who chose not to mention. If I recall correctly there's no precedent of a judge who punished someone for doing that. The act of unprotected sex is legally seen as a implied consent regarding the possibilities and risks of contagion.
Now... There are cases where a person was proven to be a "gifter", I don't know the expression in English. A person who fetishises the idea of infecting others with hiv. That act is a crime, but not because the perpetrator didn't reveal his status to his sexual partner, but because he's actively trying to spread a disease, which is an attempt against public health. It's legally equivalent to putting a virus in the water stream, or trying to spread a disease any other way. It's called criminal contagion here. So there was a case of a man who was trialed and sentenced but only because there was evidence that he was part of an internet group of "bugchasers", and he routinely had unprotected sex with strangers and kept their names as a trophy in his computer. He actually had a list of people he had infected. He counted them like awards. But unfortunately his case was exceptional. How to prove that someone is infecting willingly and purposely? Any laws on that respect will tangentiate discrimination. A law that forces people to reveal their hiv status... Would a band around the arm be more practical? So it's a tricky subject but for now, no, one is not legally forced to reveal their hiv positive status before having sexual relations.
>>
>>35366304
Honestly I don't know. I'm not a doctor.
>>
>>35366425
They still haven't arrived here, but you should know that the hiv virus has a expressively long period of latency, we call it "incubation period" or "immunological window" where the virus is in your body but undetected and inactive or partially active. This can last 6 months. 1 year. 5 years. There are recorded cases of people who showed symptoms only after 10 years. A homekit test would only work with the virus is in a considerable concentration in your blood stream. So if it's been only 3 months, for good measure I'd suggest a blood test, not a quick test. It can be more assuring.

I thought I wouldn't get an answer thanks anon
Mind to give me source of that case? that is really interesting
Trying to prove intent and willingness in a court is really problematic
Are you from europe? considering you're getting free pills for and I assume treatment for your condition

No I'm from Brazil. Luckily we had a glorious leftist-leaning government for 12 years that did many good things regarding social services, including public health system. Unfortunately last year there was a coup d'etat and now the forces in power are rightist and economic neoliberal, which is a serious threat to all of our public services... But politics apart, even though we are "third world" there are some things of our health system that are exquisite. One of those is the aids treatment. Not kidding, Brazil is an international reference regarding that. So I receive all help and support necessary from the government, not only the medicines, but the doctors, the treatments, the exams, the therapies, etc.
I can't seem to find source for that case. I only remember it because it was all over the news 4 years ago. You can imagine the tabloids headlines: "group of men spreading aids in sao paulo". One of them was arrested. I tried googling it but it's apparently lost in the past...
They were bugchasers as we known them on the internet. But they started to infect "normal" people, some times even secretly (poking holes on condoms, this sort of thing)
>>
>>35366069
>So it's not that bad, then?
I mean it's probably really bad but I don't mind it a lot.
>Or are the pills just delaying the inevitable?
If everything works well I should live pretty much as a healthy person. Having HIV isn't """that""" big of a deal if you keep it controlled. Like, the virus is inside you but it such low numbers that it can't do anything. Sometimes things go wrong, the virus multiplies, and you get AIDS. At that point you are pretty much fucked up for good. So don't take it for granted. I see a lot of people (who usually don't even have HIV) saying things like "le hiv in 2017 is no biggie xDD" and that is just dumb. It's like saying testicular cancer is no biggie because you can get your balls chopped off.
>>
>>35367023
wow wouldn't expect that brazil has better public health system than let say united states
It's interesting how the arising of right-leaning government actually brought neoliberal economic that doesn't seem add up
what do you think about the rise of /pol post-gamegate and recent Trump's presidential in here? it's getting annoying
>>
>>35367256
Well i think you got some concepts mixed up... Economic liberalism, neoliberalism, it's the adam Smith ideology. Free market. The market would regulate itself through the absolute laws of commercialism: supply and demand, and competition. The private initiative would take care of everything in tge country and the state would be shrunk and minimal. That's the economical ideology of the right axis. You probably see the word liberal and you think that rightists are conservative. Well they are, on the social aspects. On economical ground, that's what they preach. Privatization, and companies free from the claws (and taxes) of the state. A country under such regime is a paradise for the entrepreneurs and businesses. But it comes with a price. Social public funded services are weak or even absent.
The left side of the spectrum lean towards Marx's ideas on the economical regards. The state should be strong and hold all means of production, all sectors of industry and agriculture. State companies. The factories belong to the state. The crop fields belong to the state. The power plants belong to the states. And so forth. The state commands all. If you want to radicalise, you can set a revolution, dissolve private property, have the workforce seize the means of production and execute the bourgeoisie. Tadam, you have communism. The means of production are regulated by the bureaucratic machine of the state that distribute the wealth equally among a classless society. It's utopia, evidently. A country that comes near the left side of the spectrum has positive points, usually regarding social services. But it also comes with a price. This country is a nightmare for businesses. Most of the time this leads to an economic crisis and shit goes down. This system, unlike the free market, doesn't have the capacity to regenerate spontaneously and be born anew from the ashes.

No country on world is on the extreme end of the spectrum. Every country takes a little bit of both systems and match them into a working nation. USA hasn't got public health, universities, Retirement, but it has the strongest military forces of the globe. Brazil still has some instances of a leftist country: public universities, public health system and so on. But so far we are living our worst economic crisis of the century. Shits wrecked. If things continue like this, in a few years both our universities and our hospitals will be completely privatized, abd we will be one step closer to you americans. Private companies usually offer a better service than public ones, with one crucial difference: only for those who can pay.
You probably have tasted so far, I'm leftist myself, so of course I'm not fond of Trump side. He's a political joke, a demagogue with no experience to rule the most powerful country in the world, a populist who thrived like many before him, through polemics and polarized speeches in times of crisis and skepticism from the population. Unfortunately I don't think usa has any decent representative of the left, so I wouldn't know who to support instead of trump. Would anyone be better than him? I don't know. He's a demagogue, a clow,a joke, but as long as his team manages to contain his nerves, he might not do so much bullshit as we expect. We all know that the president is merely a puppet, a symbol for the masses to mask those who are really in control.
I hate pol with all my forces and I would have it deleted but the resulting diaspora would only mean a flood of neo facism in every other board. I hope I have answered your questions

I am pretty sure some people with HIV don't care too much about who because they want to infect others, so a robot would be a perfect target
