Don't try to figure them out. There is no rhyme or reason to it. Reading all day is weird but playing Xbox or hanging out at the mall is totally cool. If you live your life for what they think you'll be miserable. I'm a drunk because I have beer with lunch. There's nothing wrong with driving drunk or impaired, and binge drinking gets a pass because it's after 1700. Seems arbitrary, but look closer and you'll find a recurring theme. Anything they do is good, anything you do is bad. No matter how hard you try you'll never be accepted. The problem isn't what a person does, but who is doing it.

Learn the serenity prayer and move on. No sense feeling bad about it.
