I also found a kitty that way a couple years back.
I couldn't keep her though, but she stayed with me for about half a year. I had her sterilized and she got used to the house where I was living, full of other cats, she kinda made friends with the alpha cat.

Cats are more masculine in their behavior versus dogs. This is part of the reason they are so popular with females.

A cat doesn't need you to feed it, it can feed itself. A cat doesn't need you to bath it, it can bath itself. A cat doesn't need you to walk it, it can walk itself (or climb trees, etc.). A cat doesn't need YOU, it is happy just being alone unless it's horny for cat mating. If it becomes your friend it will spend time with you. A cat can become a friend, a dog can never rise above a slave in its relationship to man.

Now dogs on the other hand. Dogs are inferior. They have an inferior bone structure compared to cats, making them less powerful per their size and less athletic overall. Dogs are needy and in constant need of attention/gratification. Total losers. Dogs are also almost always betas, they are more than willing to be leashed and paraded around town like the pathetic sack of meat they are. Cats rarely put up with this and are almost always alphas. Dogs are orbiters, they are always around and like fetching you stuff because their lives are so worthless they have nothing better to do.
