The game was alright, it pandered pretty heavily to the tumblr crowd but that's pretty much to be expected since Toby admitted to liking homestuck (he even let a backer put their self-insert fan troll in the game)

The gameplay and story were ok, but I loved the humor though, sans and papyrus were basically the reason I kept playing the game

The community is actual cancer though, as is any modern tumblr fandom

Fantastic soundtrack, decent game, many feels. You really build a connection to the characters. I went true pacifist and couldn't stop crying at the ending where someone calls you and wraps everything up.

Nice music & humor, plus the battle mechanics are fairly clever. But I disagree with some of the design decisions (esp. w/ the way he implemented genocide route), the "puzzles" are all trash, and some areas/encounters feel unfinished or short of their potential.

It's a cute little game, I really like it. Is it "greatest game of all time" or whatever the fuck it got voted for? Hell no. Not even close. But it's alright. Pretty short, I finished it over the weekend. But the OST is godlike. Good porn too.

Cute characters, good humour, nice music and gameplay, but that's about it.
The story is the most forgettable thing in the universe, and half of it doesn't even make sense. I would give it a pass since it's a game, but it's barely one. There aren't any real puzzles and all the battles are easy as hell except for one or two. It's basically a movie.

I only dislike chiptune because it usually sounds obnoxious and it's the music that is the most loudest coming out of headphones/earphones and people can hear the occasional track I enjoy.

It was a good game. The devs knew what they wanted to do, and they did it pretty well, and it was fun. To me that's enough to qualify it as a good game. You can even replay it and try different routes. It was worth the $10 or $15 I spent on it... I've paid more for worse games.

I'd say that the difficulty was way too easy though. I didn't even die once on my first (neutral) play-through which is pretty disappointing. I would've liked more challenging fights.

Papyrus is incredibly cringy and I do not regret murdering him.

It was a pretty fun playthrough and had an excellent soundtrack, and the gameplay managed to stay fairly interesting between battles.

But it has no replay value and the story isn't as deep as its fanbase wants it to be.
