Do you have people to text /r9k/?
The only person my age I see is my brother, and he's always talking to girls or his friends. We'll be talking and I'll say something only to realize he started texting and tuned me out completely. It hurts. Not just getting ignored, but not having anyone want to talk to me. I shouldn't care if one sentence isn't heard, I should be talking to 6 people at the same time.

If I pull out my phone in public it's to look at my options menu, because I don't want people to know that the only thing I have to look at right now is the floor.

I never got used to texting or typing on a smartphone, so I try to avoid it when I can.

Also yeah I have a ton of people to text. Just try to make the other person feel wanted and valuable, then they will always need you more than you need them.

I text a couple family members but the only friends I have are on an mmo and I know we aren't that good of friends because we don't discord/skype/teamspeak. If I'm on my phone in public its only to lurk here. I don't even have any contacts in my phone
