Who else here /special ed/?
Share stories and talk about your and others autism.
I was put in sped in 5th grade. The school thought I was autistic and they sold the class to my mom as a "class for kids who need a tailor learning experience" and my mom thought it was a gifted class
I was in it for a good 6 months. Got done with everything super quick but I had to put up with a bunch of literal retards. Hated it all.
When I got done with it I transferred school districts and never talked to anybody from there again

>"class for kids who need a tailor learning experience"
This.
I had to go to classes meant "for kids who learn at a different speed".

>tfw look up old friends in elementary school who were in special ed
>one had a thread on 4chan about her being a pedo
crazy shit man
>>35344237
They should just cut the crap and say "the class for the retards." It's not like your parents don't know you're a retard.
>>35344251
How do you know they made a thread here?
WELL HOW BOW DAH
>>35344286
Because they doxxed her, had her name & address aswell as what school she went to
This guy at works wife teaches special ed and they just got walkie talkies because lately the retards have been just getting up and running out the classroom, down the hall, out the door, and into traffic. So they can now call security to try to stop them.

My school's sped had locks on the doors so the tards couldn't do that shit. Sucks for the teachers in case one of the tards have a fit but better than them playing in traffic

We had a school cop in high school and the "train kid" (autistic kid that loved trains) ended up beating the shit out of him. The cop tried to control one of his outburst and train kid was like 6' 3" 300lbs and just absolutely crushed this cop and then threw a chair at him with a direct hit.
I went to a gifted class for a few years. I suppose that's technically special.
A third of the class were autist nerds, a third studious Asians, and a third future stoners. A few Chads would sneak in, but it was obvious they didn't need "accelerated learning" and resented not being with their friends in the normie class, so I assume they were there because it would look good for their future or something.

We had a tard kid of similar size. During one of the fire drills he picked up a giant rock the school used as decoration (must have been at least 300 pounds). He lifted it over his head and the entire school went on lockdown

For some strange reason this story made me happy
>>35344543
Yikes.
>>35344580
Yeah. Train Kid was alright. He knew a ton about trains, that's for sure.
>retard thread
>non-tards start posting
REEEEEEEEE OUTOUTOUT

I remember throwing a ping pong paddle at a kid like that in Gym in 8th grade and he litetally went "REEEEEE" and picked me up and dropped me. Didn't hurt or anything but it was weird and cringy az hell
I remember I had a crush on a girl in high school, but stopped talking to her after I found out she was in sped. She looked normal and wasn't down syndrome looking. I am assuming you guys looked normal too, but was in sped. Are you guys just slow? She was a real at, too. I also knew a Stacy who was in sped but she said she was dyslexic. Do they just lump autistic, dyslexic, and deaf people with retards?
>forced into sped because of clinical depression
>teachers didn't teach anything, move extremely slow
>kids just did whatever the fuck they wanted
>fucked with my work ethic beyond belief due to the extremely small work load
>therishit always tried to talk to me, usually just made me feel worse
>eventually snapped at him and he still continued trying to talk to me
Fuck sped. It doesn't help those with issues, it shields them from reality and screws them over.
