This place is nightmare mode for robots. Everybody turns the Chad dial up to 11 and people think you're mentally ill if you're not super hyped up about everything all the time. The mere idea of wanting to stay home on a day off is totally alien to the majority of people here. If you're single and not out doing cool people things all day and at a club every night off, there's something seriously wrong with you.

It's also nightmarishly hard to get any kind of decent job here, even with qualifications, because you have to compete for everything with a whole bunch of ultra charismatic confident Chads who moved here from podunk to try and be movie stars and with top of the line professionals who moved here because everybody not from LA wants to live in LA.

I lived in Sacramento for a few years, and that place was terrible too, but I liked the weather. It was nice having four distinct seasons.
