I had that all through my teens and 20's and now into my 30's.

It's pretty much devastated my social life. I blush so easily that I cannot enjoy socializing because I fear at any second I could blush uncontrollably.

I could have been normal in every social situation. I've lost count of the social situations that I couldn't participate in fully because of my blushing problem. I just sit there and try not to draw attention to myself. When I blush I would go the bathroom and splash cool water over my face. It evaporates in a second, does nothing.

It's literally ruined my life. I now live alone and don't socialize with anyone. I wish I had a cooling face mask that pumps cold water across my face, would have been able to socialise normally.

Whether you're a girl or a male, seeing someone I'm talking to blush makes me a lot more comfortable. It means they're a little nervous, and it relaxes me because it makes me feel like I don't have to try so hard around them, because they're noticeably just as nervous as I am.

I don't really blush, but I smile uncontrollably no matter what the atmosphere is due to the awkwardness. Everyone called me an idiot because of it, and many people got offended because they thought I was laughing at serious matters.

I actually tried to in middle school after a teacher got me into trouble because I was smiling when she reprimanded me for something. I can kind of do it, but depending on the level of awkwardness it can make me grimace. If I do manage to hold back from smiling sometimes, I usually have to do it consciously so a lot of the time it would be too late by the time I notice I'm doing it.

It's gotten better during the latter years of high school though as I generally became less socially awkward. Still do it sometimes but it happens less often and I usually notice it and can stop it now. Although I haven't really been out of the house for the past 2 years so I wouldn't know if it got worse again.

Yep. I can get comfy with them if I have been talking to them for a few days successively but I am pretty estranged from my family and they generally leave me alone to decay in my room.

I'm super fucking pale, so I used to blush a ton and it'd be really obvious. Used to get teased about it a lot, fucking hated it.

Then I got psoriasis all over my face.

Fortunately, the dead skin and pus covering my face went away, but it was so bad that I now have permanently red cheeks. Honestly, it's not so bad. I'll never blush again, and it actually feels great.
