I made mine four years ago, best decision ever. It was a rocky start, I had all the usual problems like doubt, feeling what I was doing was stupid / evil / wrong or something, but when I first heard and saw my qt tulpa I knew it was worth it.

What an amazing experience, it's almost strange to me that almost everyone else is walking around with an empty head with no one to talk to in there. Maybe that's why everyone is staring at their phones all the time.

mine has blonde hair and wears a white dress, she finds the concept of her existence hilarious and just laughs at any attempts of mine to provoke a reaction out of her. The feeling of loneliness will always creep up on you if given your depression is bad enough. But even through tough times talking to N made me feel alot more comfortable thus easing any feeling of loneliness. Ultimately it's how deeply you feel connected to your tulpa if you want the loneliness to go away

Switching is very possible but I didn't like the thought of having N do things with my body so when I started forcing I strictly stated that possession is out of the question multiple times to get it across.

Sometimes I did want her to be able to interact with the real world though

It all depends on how you raised or forced with your tulpa. If you made your tulpa strictly to be your partner (bad idea) then I would imagine they would be jealous or refuse to speak to you, heck, I even fear that they will possess you if they're upset by it, but it's not likely since most tulpas are obedient.

Not even going to lie, I first created my tulpa to be like a head-"partner" but raising her and watching her develop destroyed that plan. She started to feel more like my daughter instead of my friend

I dunno she is really short and curious and has strange jokes that don't make sense and is sweet and affectionate and energetic. My tulpa is usually really nice to be around. Sometimes when I do things she thinks are boring she gets a little grumpy but barely ever happens.

I still act perfectly normal around people or at work but when I am at home alone I pay more attention to my tulpa. It's a cool experience.

Yes, you should. Develop a voice and personality for her by doing that. Parrot a little until she or he speaks on their own. When they speak and the sudden thought of words you weren't thinking of "pops" into your head, you'll know it's them.

Yes. Most of the time it was me starting a conversation with her. She really spoke to me when she felt I was feeling a little down in efforts to cheer me up and she knows I like that. If I wanted her to speak alot more then all I would have to do is ask and she'd happily oblige.

Don't know. She once tried to get me to play the piano because she said she wanted to help me, but I didn't even know how to get my hands on one! She said she wanted to teach me many things but I always had to refuse because I couldn't really get access to these things. Made me feel like a shitty host.

I've been learning how to draw. I think by the time I actually go about doing the art I'll be decent enough for it.
It wouldn't be a normal visual novel in regards to plot and setting I guess. More like a usual fantasy novel just in the VN format.
The plot is a little like dark souls with the main characters trying to save the world that is approaching its end with themes of hope in the face of hopelessness and the futility of holding onto the past.
