I'm NEET now, but I was a good little wagecuck when I did work and only called out when my car wouldn't start or had a flat. But fuck if I didn't want to call in virtually every day.

The tradeoff is I would never go when called during a day off.

About once a month. I switched to a compressed work schedule so I get every other Monday off now by working 9 hour days.

My sick time never expires so I've got a whole month of that in the bank and it keeps growing. I use that whenever I don't feel like going in or sleep through my alarm, since I don't really ever get sick.

My boss is pretty cool and puts me in for sick time whenever I call out due to snow, so I don't have to pretend to be sick on snow days.
