Dont know if they were the killers but definetly scary. I could find the site but its in latvian and im on my phone. They havent been catched.

here's a short narrative I've abandoned. If at some points it reads funny, it's because it was a sentence I was going to rewrite but didn't.

>"Next in line please" said the ticket taker
A man stood in front of him staring down at his hands
The night was cool and still
The smell of grease and cotton candy was stagnant in the air
It made him sick
The ticket taker coughed and the man broke his gaze
He opened his mouth to speak but said nothing
His mouth was dry
Before he could think of something to say the woman next to him kissed his cheek and grabbed his hand,
leading him into one of the six metal compartments before them

The woman sat first, visably affected by joyful anticipation
The man reluctantly pulled himself in and sat opposite of the woman
It was dark inside
The seats were made of cheap plastic
They stuck to his jeans
He gave the woman a smile and layed his head back waiting for the ride to start

The woman smiled back "I'm excited"
The man finaly spoke
"I can tell"
His answer seemed to reverberate against the walls
He looked down curious to see if he had upset her
But the woman was still smiling as if she hadn't heard it
The man fidgeted his fingers around themselves

With a groan the old machine whirred to life
And the compartments began to move
slowly at first but gaining speed exponentialy with each rotation
A dull shaft of light from outside flickered against the chamber wall
The man looked through the opening
The lights and colors beyond the window danced and pulsated
It looked like a moving painting to him
He looked to the crowd where he had stood minutes ago fluttering in and out of view
Through the flashes their faces seemed to be fixed on his
The man shivered and turned towards the woman
He wanted to say something but as he turned an odd thing occured to him seizing any words he would have liked to speak

At some point during his breif look all of the darkness in the cabin had gathered on the opposite side
The man could no longer see the woman behind the thick black curtain that had formed infront of him
Silence fell over the cabin as if the blackness were pulling in sound as well as the light
The man pressed his back into the seat as far as he could
His hands were cold and damp
His mouth and throat felt like sand
The darkness was still
The room that had seconds ago been moving, racing to some unknown point in space
Was now stopped. Unmoving. as if their destination had been reached and the vessal having served its purpose was at rest
Waiting.
The feeling was unmistakeable.
The sensation of waiting was palpable in the thick cabin air
But this was a different sort of feeling.
Of course he had waited for things before,
He knew the difference between waiting for a paycheck and waiting in line at the bank, waiting for car repairs and waiting for a package in the mail
He was familiar with many forms of idle anticipation. This was somthing new. Something he had never felt


Maybe I'll finish it someday when I'm not at a job that makes me work 50 hrs a week

Today I add the forty five minutes to my commute to take the well lit and traffic heavy road. Carry a phone and mace
