No, the point is correct but the pain/pleasure ratio is still skewed regardless. I've been a NEET for 6 years myself, and I barely enjoy any of my hobbies. When I got a job for a week, I enjoyed my hobbies more of course but only because I had went through pain and needed escapism to justify why I put myself through it.
