For the past 8 years I've been obsessed with writing film scripts. It's been a complete virgin's hobby for me - the type of thing I'd do when normies are all out drinking.

I occasionally sent them to people but didn't expect anything, I was just doing it for fun. Most often I got no response.

At the end of last year I sent one to an agent in Hollywood. They were impressed and decided to take me on.

Tomorrow I'm flying out to LA for a week. I have meetings with executives at studios and production companies all week about my script.

In terms of music theory the first thing I would learn is where the notes are on the fret board if you don't know that yet, it's quite useful. Ffter that I would only learn music theory when it is needed to understand something. Many guitarists learn all the theory and techniques but play like robots with no feel whatsoever
