What do women even do? Every hobby/activity is almost always dominated by men. Video games, sports, computers/tech. Even getting into more specific hobbies (frisbee, woodworking, fishing). Do they really have zero interests?
>>
>>35261058
I just read manga, browse /r9k/ and [s4s], and sleep.
>>
>>35261058

Apparently makeup is a hobby but it's just a terrible excuse for them to slobber their face with that garbage. Most just watch YouTube videos or go on social media, that kind of stuff.
>>
they dont have hobbies. find a girl who watches sports or plays video games and youll find a girl who absorbed her previous BFs hobby
>>
I like languages and linguistics, hiking and camping, cooking, baking, used to do glass fusing
I also like travelling (abroad and also just to know the little places close to where I live) and watching movies
>>
Reading, hanging out with friends, traveling, laughing, listening to music.

I have never met a woman with a hobby other than those.
>>
>>35261392
>laughing

omg i love laughing. i spend about an hour a day sitting in a dark room stairing at the wall laughing to myself
>>
>>35261413
If Tinder girls liked me, I would use that one.

I spend most of my time playing video games, followed by anime watching and random internet browsing. It's called escapism, much needed for any loser's sanity. The girls can't into tech meme is fucking dumb, I have a degree in IT and I'm not the only female who graduated my class with one.
>>
>>35261058
My wife plays cello, crochets, bakes, sews, gardens, and works with charities.
>>
>>35261321
Yeah I don't really get it. My ex-gf was really into Makeup. Do they really consider it a hobby or a lifestyle or something more fullfilling than what it really is (That is a pathetic attempt to hide their flaws from the social world)? That being said, she spent most of her time on youtube, tumblr, and going to clubs so maybe that's some indication that she's a vapid cunt.
>>
>>35261479
What vidya do you play?
Also pls be my gf

they do the same shit i do, except they judge me for doing it.

it's completely okay one way or another if women have zero ambition. but if i don't have ambition, that's my ass right there.

i make crappy art, shit post and squeal to edge music.. and being an attention whore if that counts for something
>>
I feel like anything other than consuming media is just an excuse to not appear boring. A woman could be an enthusiastic hiker and people would still think she's just exaggerating and is some kind of novice or not as devoted.
>>
>>35261058
Every girl in my family doesn't seem to have a hobby unless you count socialising and gossiping. I'm hardly better than that comparatively. I get pretty confused about women sometimes since they complain other hobbies are "boys clubs" yet they barely interact with it more often than not.

Not to mention just about every bloody girl likes "travelling". At least visit something interesting.
>>
>>35261672
its true mostly every women ik loves going on adventures to foreign places... but only accompanied with another human
>>
>>35261672
>I WANNA GO TO FRANCE CUZ ITS CLICHE AND IN EVERY MOVIE THEY GO TO FRANCE AT SOME POINT, SO I NEED TO TOO

this is the psychology behind it all, no need to be confused, very basic the way people's minds are monkey see monkey do.
>>
>>35261058
Anon you clearly don't realize that is simply because of male oppression!
>>

What's something interesting? I can't understand travel snobs, Paris is a pretty cool city.

>dollhouse making
>miniatures (not for war gaming)

Women can have hobbies, you just don't see it because they won't bring their dollhouse to da club. And to be honest, most club sluts don't have hobbies other than cock.

The sewing club at work is full of women, some are young and attractive even.

>The girls can't into tech meme is fucking dumb, I have a degree in IT and I'm not the only female who graduated my class with one.

>Most girls can't into tech.
This is true. Not because they are dumber: they simply have to much make-up, 500$ handbags and unlimited supplies of Chad cock and beta attention to give a fuck about anything complicated.

If you consider cardio a hobby, there are lots of girls on the cardio machines at the gym
>>
>>35261349
Could you elaborate what exactly fascinates you about linguistics? since you listed it first it certainly must interest you quite a lot.

"being a woman" is a hobby. that's why there are so many traps these days. men are starting to pick up the hobby and actually getting better at it than "real" women.

check and mate.
>>
>>35262204
Well, I'd guess my main interest would be languages, but I like learning about how they developed and changed, the differences between them and so on.
I used to study several foreign languages but moved abroad (to improve one of them) and I haven't continued taking classes.
>>
>>35262409
Oh so you would like something along the lines of etymology?
>>
>>35262470
Yeah, that's interesting.
I'm the one that's (very lazily) learning Italian, and being a Spanish speaker when I come across words that are completely different I like finding out where they come from, if it's Latin or some other language.

>>
>>35262581
I don't have the discipline for learning a new language honestly.I took french in high school and was pretty good but never followed up on it afterwards. Europeons are different in that they are surrounded by many more languages than americans and spanish is something I loathe. Good on you though for doing it though.
>>
When my sisters were little they would play video games and sports but now they just watch Netflix and post on Facebook. Female puberty is a terrible thing.
>>
>>35262640
Whats your point? I know
>>35262659
It's something I started doing thinking "in a year, would I be happy if I started learning x now?", and after several years I'm pretty happy I started.
>>
>>35262753
What was the biggest obstacle? I think finding a use for the language was it for me. Who would I talk to or practice conversations with?
>>
>>35262815
I like learning it for the sake of it, so for me it's easy to stay motivated even if I don't have a reason like work. Taking classes helped me, and it's easier to keep a good pace.
I guess the biggest problem is maintaining your level once you've stopped actively learning it. If you don't have any use for it you'll lose fluency.
>>
>>35262949
So how do you accomplish that? I suppose with penpals and the like you get to at least write the language and stay competent.
>>
>>35261715
That's true of most normies though, not just women
>>
>>35262995
Like most people here I'm not a social butterfly, so mostly listening to the radio... I sometimes go to language exchange groups, but I do that mostly to help people who learn my native language.

I love watching Americans get lost in European cities.
Bristol is one twelfth the size of Chicago, yet I spent 10 minutes explaining to this frustrated tourist how to get to the dock because the city wasn't laid out in simple grid for him.

You can easily make an argument for women having a lower average intelligence and being less motivated in life, but women are not just stacked up in a dark room waiting for Chad to pick one, fuck her then put her back.
>>
>>35261058
Frisbee like normies going to the beach and attempting to throw because plenty of women do that to hang with the chads or frisbee like the ultra competitive fast growing club scene /shill
>>
>>35263264
Fucking people who watch Daria think they are more intelligent cuz 'muh intellectual feminism' shit.
>>
>>35263159
Next best thing I guess. If I had a regular schedule and a teacher patient enough to teach out of goodwill and an interest for teaching the language, I'd go for it in all likeliness.
>>
>>35261058
My Sister likes sowing and making pillows and cushions and shit like that
My Mom is your typical cliched housewife, obsessed with baking and cake decorating

My biological Father is a truck driver but in his spare time he used to rip CD's and pirate games and software back in the 90's
My Step-Father designs and builds networks for a major cell-phone provider

Women are more likely to enjoy creative hobbies they can conduit their emotional energy into.
Men will likely find enjoyment in logical problem solving and overcoming obstacles through rational thought.
Neither are mutually exclusive of course, but it's interesting to me how much of a pattern there is among genders, especially through people I've known.

I've noticed that americans are the worse at following instructions.
I don't always give mangled information, because I'm not TOO devilish.
Other europeans have it easy, and I can understand that. They are used to the "dark age" kind of architecture.

But even asians are usually better at understanding directions than americans are.
Why.
>>
>>35263419
Thats because you're talking to idiots? Someone who has their shit together wouldn't be asking directions anyway. Someone too dumb to read a map will ask for directions and they'd fail at that too unless you held their hand and Asians I would hope are just confused because of the language ,and are okay with directions.
>>
I know a chick who rides horses and goes to those competitions where they jump and shit.

I know another girl who does taxidermy and makes jewelry.

All I fucking do is lift weights and play guitar and get drunk and watch movies.

I watched Midnight in Paris last night. It was good but it was VERY Woody Allen. If you have seen Annie Hall you know what I mean. As in our protagonist is once again a whiny jew. But I like the message; be true to yourself and seize the moment. Life is now, stop waiting for it or pining for it.
