What's your favourite album?
knife man
No other album has managed to have such consistently outstanding songs (they always have one bad song), and that's not even getting into how almost all metal spawned from it.
hot rats
the sophtware slump
>>35258817
Listening to it, good shit man.
>>35258036
Prowler in the Yard. Kinda edgy but I can personally relate to the album art
>>35258242
Nice taste my dude, one of my favorite albums for night time driving
This one, each day every day.
>>35258882
>night driving
My nigga
>>35258876
Jennifer is easily in my top 5 album intros.
The eminem show
>>35258895
I Don't Love is one of the greatest songs ever.
>>35258790
meh, I really like Willy the Pimp though. The openers good too
This is mine. Nobody steal pls
>>35258939
This one is close too. Don't take this one either.
>>35258916
It's a really hard intro to top. Scott did a job
>>35258923
Good taste
>>35258939
Perfect taste,
Could be this at the moment
Probably Radiohead's "Ok computer". Why? Because it's the most relevant and comprehensive depiction of what the current stage humanity is about. "Fragile" by Yes almost got there but it failed because it was too optimistic.
There is plenty of other unbelievably relevant albums but arguably no other is as comprehensive as "Ok comp". Still, here's a list:
King Crimson's first album
Joy Division "Unknown pleasures"
Kraftwerk "Man machine"
Marilyn Manson's 1996 - 2000 trilogy
NIN's "Downward spiral"
Immolation "Here in after"
Darkthrone "Transylvanian hunger"
The Beatles "Rubber soul"
Yes "Fragile"
any Burzum album
Tangerine Dream "Phaedra"
A truly underrated gem

this
o-original

>Marilyn Manson's 1996 - 2000 trilogy
Never listened to this until recently desu. Ended up being really good
>>35258963
Spiral is good, but I prefer Year Zero
>>35258036
Titus Andronicus' The Monitor
>>35258093
I prefer AJJ's earlier stuff to be honest. Sure the beginning and the finalee are perfect, but Knifeman kinda drags out too much in the middle. I always skip Backback and Zombie.
Me, I hope that I'm crazy
I feel you driving and you're only the wheel
Slow down let someone love you
Oooh... I've never touched you since I started to feel
fuck i love this album
>>35258036
Live the Dream- Ramshackle Glory
Dream Homes - Dear Landlord
24 Hour Revenge Therapy - Jawbreaker
Rot Forever - Sioux Falls
Prob so many more favorites but those off the top of my head
Worlds. Literally the most album I've ever heard.
>>35259419
*best, not most.
>>35259102
Brethren. I relate deeply with the information age paranoia in OK Computer. No Surprises - Lucky - The Tourist is the best album ending ever.
>>35258923
>>35258949
Good taste.
I can't explain why
Any lounge/Chillout Fans here?
>>35258036
Probably Arcade Fires' "The Suburbs". I think that's more to do with the time it was released than anything else desu, I really connected with that strange feeling of alienation around things that ought to be familiar.
All time: F# A# Infinity.
At the moment: Lift To Experience - Texas-Jeruselum Crossroads
>>35259510
Yep. If you enjoy well though-out album endings check Manson's "Mechanical animals" (track 12 through 14).
sooner or later you'll bare your teeth
>>35259643
Lol Slow Riot is better.
>>35259712
I mean, I like all of their stuff they've put out so far, but I gotta disagree with you on that, even though it's still a top notch EP.
>>35259768
F#A# is less focused on its overall point. I'm not saying its better because it's shorter just that it's narrative is more clear and satisfying every time.
YO. (As robots, not posting the cure, you guys screwed up)
Audible nectar
>>35258036
probably this, but it really hard to choose.
Live the Dream/Die the Nightmare - Ramshackle Glory
To Risk So Much for One Damn Meal - Taxpayers
>tfw she'll never top it
>>35259333
Oh shit nigger nice taste
>>35258036
Fitter, happier
More productive
Comfortable
Not drinking too much
Regular exercise at the gym, three days a week
Getting on better with your associate employee contemporaries
At ease
Eating well, no more microwave dinners and saturated fats
A patient, better driver
A safer car, baby smiling in back seat
Sleeping well, no bad dreams
No paranoia
Careful to all animals, never washing spiders down the plughole
Keep in contact with old friends, enjoy a drink now and then
Will frequently check credit at moral bank, hole in wall
Favours for favours, fond but not in love
Charity standing orders on sundays, ring-road supermarket
No killing moths or putting boiling water on the ants
Car wash, also on sundays
No longer afraid of the dark or midday shadows, nothing so ridiculously teenage and desperate
Nothing so childish
At a better pace, slower and more calculated
No chance of escape
Now self-employed
Concerned, but powerless
An empowered and informed member of societ, pragmatism not idealism
Will not cry in public
Less chance of illness
Tires that grip in the wet, shot of baby strapped in backseat
A good memory
Still cries at a good film
Still kisses with saliva
No longer empty and frantic
Like a cat
Tied to a stick
That's driven into
Frozen winter shit, the ability to laugh at weakness
Calm, fitter, healthier and more productive
A pig in a cage on antibioticsoriginal
