I like the grind something about getting those gains makes me feel like I've done something with my life.

It has a special place in my heart but I've moved on. I gave it the best years of my life and I don't regret it, but now it's just a shell of what it used to be.

I never played Old School, it seemed pointless since the quests were my favorite part.

It takes ~10 minutes to get back into the boss room, and you have an hour
With protect item you will only drop 0-3m of items, and it's practically impossible to not retrieve it.

Sometimes I've dc'ed for over two hours straight, it's really not worth the risk. My stats are about 80/90/75 anyway (70 prayer obv, prayer's dirt cheap now), I'd be dead weight. Went in a trio back when my friends played and I had to tank and we only got about a dozen kills, bad considering I had guthans+bgs+bones to peaches.

70 prayer costed me less than 3m when I got it in june of last year, it's probably even cheaper now since that hill giant boss drops noted big bones. Use big bones btw, they're so much more cost efficient than dragons, and training prayer is very relaxing since you don't have to use bones one by one anymore, no need to use dragons unless you're doing 99 or some shit.
