Serious answer: Start by reading more. Novels, poems, news articles, wikipedia. Don't just read blogs, 4chan, leddit whatever. Listen to audiobooks, not just podcasts. When you don't know a word, look it up. When you have a question, research the answer instead of asking someone else. Sudoku is a bit of a meme, but kakuro is a good puzzle that helps with brain elasticity too.
