The internet was a mistake. I think in the future, long-term studies will show how daily internet use for prolonged periods has effects as damaging as serious drugs. It makes us lazy, dumb, boring people who post garbage and shit all day and we use it as a pacifier to boredom and depression. Then we even get fooled into thinking that we are learning and acquiring knowledge and exposing ourseves to new opinions, when all we do is confirm our own biases and enter echo chambers and hugboxes. Fuck the internet, I hate it so much but I am addicted to it
