Why is this show so popular among girls? The titular character is nothing close to being Chad, or the characteristic attractive man. He is rather the kind of guy that other straight guys would find "cutesy" as I do. Yet, this is a "shoujo" manga/show, that is specifically for female audiences. Also, the thems are pretty mature and only another boy would understand and get feels out of them. /r9k/ insists that girls only like Chad. Is this show evidence that there are girls who unironically like cutesy, beta, quiet, emo guys? Sorry if this question is incredibly stupid, I'm not from a sexually liberal society, so I know literally nothing about girls, and haven't spoken to one properly since I hit puberty. Allahu Akbar.
