Why would people ever choose a glass eye over an eyepatch?

Eye patches are badass and all but you would get sick of having it wrapped around your head. A glass eye can look real but people catch on when that thing doesn't move. Best option is to get a novelty one, something like an 8 ball or a target.

Best option is to just walk around with an open eye socket and scare the shit out of anyone who looks at you.
