Scrolling through this thread reminded me of why you're all here on a daily basis.

Trump is doing a pretty good job. He's doing most of the things he promised he would do (Aside from locking up Hilary, I really wanted him to do that but that's all right), and he's doing them at a good pace. Yes he's a shit speaker and has funny hair but he's not perfect. I know a lot of you are young and haven't learned this yet, but there are no perfect human beings, and hence no perfect politicians. Even some of the best leaders we've ever had have had flaws; do not expect the perfect American man to lead us to fairy tale land, because he doesn't exist and never will.

/pol/ incarnates take it too far and it gets annoying, but that doesn't provide good enough reason to side against Trump considering what liberals and the left stand for. I know a lot of you are rejects, but you can't be pseudo intellectual centrists your whole life and find a reason to hate everything. Eventually, one side will go after the other, and they'll come straight to your doorstep for an answer. In other words, one of the dumbest things you can do in this world is choose to be ignorant, and more so in the field of politics (Another good example is MGTOW), because it will affect you eventually. The outside world moves on, with or without you, and it will come to you one day; ignore it then.

I think he was elected because he represents a change from the tired politics the democrats have come to represent. Hillary represented the establishment and everything that people didn't want in a politician and Trump pretty much said he was gonna be everything Hillary wasn't. I wouldn't have voted for Trump but I can understand why people did.

The thing I like the least about Trump is probably his lack of experience. Yes, he's been successful in business, but I'm not sure that qualifies him to be the commander in chief of a global superpower. And is his lack of experience going to lead to him to rely heavily on advisors and other people, or is he gonna make his own judgement any other person wouldn't have the political experience to make? Donald represents a change though and is very unpredictable, so who knows what will happen.

His speeches sound promising and if he makes America great, then awesome. Don't think there's ever been a politician who's been able to keep what they promised during their campaign and their early years, no matter how favorably we look at them now.
