To troll reddit you need to flirt with the line of believability more than here, because here an obviously made up troll is a roleplay whereas on reddit it's 'harassment' or something like that. So you need to keep it vaguely believable. But the benefit of all that effort is that you'll see people wasting all this energy on serious replies, sometimes writing whole essays in response to your made up BS.

I had to look it up and see it for myself to believe it. I thought it was a joke or satire too, but it's 100% real. It's from a subreddit called /r/TheBluePill, which is a subreddit where "people" devote time to reposting content from /r/TheRedPill and getting mad at it. I guess it makes sense that anyone pathetic enough to be subscribed there would post something like this?

Yes, but you can get the essay replies even here too. In fact if you make troll threads you can spark off discussions between autists who spend hours writing essays at each other while you're just switching browser tabs every 30 mins to make sure it hasn't bumped or 404'd.
