How do you guys get shit done? I have no motivation to study whatsoever. This is my first year of college, in Autumn I passed with 3.4 GPA and I need to pass the Winter session with at least a 2.7 GPA to get into business school, and I just have NO motivation to do ANYTHING.

Meanwhile, there are people learning shit and applying it to real life and getting paid to do it instead of pouring over and simply memorizing shit that they likely won't even use so they can get a good grade on the next test. Like, damn, I feel like you have to either have an obsession with the material or be a mindless monkey to put in some much work into school - especially since your grades hardly even make a difference when it comes to getting a job (at least for engineering).

i took calc 1, 2, and 3, and i dunno.. It was very difficult for me, I failed almost every midterm every time (with ~40%, sometimes getting 55% if i was lucky), and everytime i had to get a tutor for hours of practice and probably did ~20 practice exams just to get a 65%. i'm the anon just above you though and have brain issues so i'm not sure if this is how everyone else is

though you shouldn't be disheartened even if so! everyone goes at their own pace and i'm proud of you for keeping at it

Some do some kinda cutoff where they won't hire people with a gpa < 3.0, but even that is a minority I think. Most just hire based on your personality.
