when i was a lad there was this alcoholic old drunkard in our town who one day decided to jump under a train. he was the childhood friend of my friend's dad who was doing volunteer work as a fireman at the time and so had to pick up his old friend's pieces afterward. they say they needed 3 big trash bags for them all. friend's dad stopped drinking for a while after that.

I was suicidal earlier this year. I live in a high rise and I locked myself in the bathroom cause the urge was upsetting me.

Things are still pretty shitty but I think there's hope.

What snapped me out of it was someone committed suicide via subway while I was on the way to have dinner with my siblings about being depressed.

I was horrified because no one gave a shit. I felt like I was gonna have a seizure and I could barely eat. Everyone else was bitching about being late.

The shitty people in this world won't care but good people will. Nice train drivers and moralfags like me won't sleep. The people who treated you like shit will shrug and not care - if they even hear about you.

I can't convince you not to do it OP, but if you do, have some heart and don't drag innocent little kids going to the museum with their families or people doing their jobs along for the ride.

1. Don't do it near or at a station, you are MUCH MORE LIKELY to survive but with lifelong injuries
2. Do it at night, preferably right after a tunnel. Give the driver no chance to slow down, see you, or react.
3. If you do it right, you are likely to instantly die. However - If you survive, you will be alive with very brutal injuries, which will be extremely painful. If you are not saved in time, it will be a painful death, much like drinking chemicals or OD'ing. If you are saved, livelong injuries are guaranteed.

I've heard that suicide by train is MUCH harder than it seems like.
You might go to the rails and wait for the train, convinced that you're gonna kill yourself.
But when the train is coming and the moment to hop infront of it, most people chicken out.
Trains makes a lot of noises and a big, heavy moving object are scary. The ground vibrates and your instincts tells you not to do it.

I got truck stuck on tracks offroading- continued trying to unstuck it for awhile then as it got closer just ran away, turned around just and watched it happen. Cargo train was like SCREEEEEE for a decent while until it hit my truck spectacularly- sent it way in air spinning. i turned away, ducked and started screaming

i freaked out everytime seeing someone walk over tracks, and i panicked everytime im on a train and it unexpectedly slows down

I have a decent life. I'm living at home, have 0 friends, and work a shitty minimum wage job that makes me feel like I have some iota of worth. I have had a few happy memories and some not-so-happy ones. I disappoint a lot of people, including myself. I have laughed and cried, and I'd like to think I've loved (or at least orbited).
