The only delimiter you have for how fast time passes is how much time has already elapsed, it's totally relative. The further you go into the future the less each week, month and year matters.

The truth of this statement is agony. I'm 29, and already 1/4 of the way on to be 30. I would say though, that it makes longterm goals and seeing those plans through far more plausible. I can think in terms of acheivements over months and years now, whereas I never could before. So much happened until my twenties. Each moment was dense with meaning, such that those memories still remain burned into my mind. Each month means less and less. Maybe one or two things will happen worth mentioning every three months. Eventually, this will mean that nothing happens for years.

I'm almost 25 and still a very late bloomer. People always belittle me with the "you'll appreciate it when you're older".
