Yes, I have had extremely similar fantasies, including being held hostage in a bank with my crush for hours, getting all the men in the bank together, and figuring out a plan to kill the criminals and free everyone, and carrying out the plan with them. I'd get shot in the battle, but I'd make a full recovery, and she'd visit me in the hospital.

I'm pretty sure everyone imagines themselves as a President.
