Who else here dream about becoming an astronaut (or something like that) and being sent on a mission to Mars and never comming back?
I mean, I wouldn't miss anything, I ain't got nothing here... there would probably be food there, and I would die a hero... Seems like the perfect job opportunity. I wish there was a chance of this actualy happeningThen I remember I'm a loser
I think I would function better as an astronaut or a space worker in general.
>tfw born 40 years too early
3am here and you made me wish I could be in outer space doing cool shit with my life. Now to cry myself to sleep...

Cheer up, you have a nive trips there
Original comment pls
The Mars colony is going to be incredibly exclusive. People like us would never make the cut.

It feels bad knowing I was born in such a stale period when deep down in my heart I'm a space autist. I just want to explore space. I can't be an Astronaut or Astrologer either because I'm a brainlet. My life wish is to visit outer space before I die.

I always imagined my life one day would be something like in the ''Titan AE'' movie.
Going to space is just one of those thing I know will never happen...
Seeing the emptyness of space, the planets, the stars... seems so comfy and scary at the same time.
Did any of you guys ever watch/read The Expanse? That's what my life should be.

Just imagine, we were barely born too soon. If we were just born about 100 year later, we would probably be living the dream of exploring our solar system. Fuck, this always depresses me. I wish I wasn't autistic about space.

Highly likely that everyone in this thread will be dead by 2080 a few dozen photos on some old servers that will be all that remains before thats wiped to free up space ~2050

Kinda sad to think that the protagonists in the movies I watched as a kid are around or just a bit older than I am. Even just looking at some of the ages of actors and actresses that are big at the moment more of their birthdates are in the 90s
i fully believe I will walk on the moon before I die.

I dream of become immortal and living in a one-man, solar-powered, self-sustaining space habitat. Then setting out on journeys beyond the solar system when scientists discover viable interstellar propulsion.

>Become Immortal
>Outlive the heat death of the universe
You're not thinking this through

I work as a welder/weld inspector on rockets and my dream is to stowaway on a launch to Mars. To bad the close out techs are so damn thorough, I'd never be able to pull it off.
>>35188894
sorry anon
earth is flat
space is fake
Don't despair, OP! If you work hard and don't give up, you could be the first person to walk on the Moon!

Immortality is not invulnerability. I can still an hero if it becomes boring.
>>35189752
just get a fucking space suit. strap yourself in however and if they find you say "I WANNA GO UP UP UP UP UP" and dont stop. dont move.
>>35188894
You know space doesn't exist right? lmao

I had the potential and wanted to up to late middle school, then I looked up some shit about it on internet and it seems like you have to be charming, funny and sociable as well. Sad!
They all complain about what isolation does to you brain, but someons like me couldn't give a shit about being as far from civilization as anyone has ever been. Just give me pocket Wikipedia, an MP3 player and food and I'll be The Martian for all you want.
