any other anons in therapy here? how has your experience been?

15 years of therapy total. finally quit last fall. got me nowhere

Therapy got me nowhere too. That doesn't mean it won't work for you but it just didn't do it for me. It did help me realize all I needed were SSRIs to function though.

Apparently so. I was misdiagnosed bipolar for a while but that got fixed after the meds fucked me up.

Major depression, schizoid personality disorder, generalized anxiety disorder.

Had brother who is or was manic think, kept explaining or outsmarting therapists and got nowhere. Dad sent him to it. Was just doing drugs and doing some curtain thing.

Been in and out of therapy for 16-ish years.
Has never been productive.
