Have you ever experienced sever abstinence symptoms?

This sunday I stopped drinking alcohol. I used to drink 0,5 - 1,0 l vodka everyday for more than half a year. Now I have delirium and hallucinations. But contrary to what I read on the internet it's a fascinating experience. I see deformed grotesque faces (yet beautiful in their own way), bugs everywhere (spiders and larvae), I can feel them on my skin. I hear angelic and demonic voices, alarm sounds non-stop. But it's beautiful. Solid trip.
