How do you even consume 3,000 calories a day? I'm skeletonmode but I started lifting, I need a calorie surplus every day to gain weight and I'm getting about 1,500 calories a day and probably burning 1,000 of them.

Literally almost any type of sandwich with meat/cheese/condiments will be ~700 calories

One of your issues may be that a lot of the stuff you're eating isn't too dense in calories, so it feels like you're eating all the time without accomplishing too much. Among those things, only the baked beans, oats, and walnuts are really "dense" in calories. Go for more carbs like pastas and rice, making sandwiches with deli meats works too.
