Early Monday morning, who's up?
>>35164313
Had a bad shit this morning lads.
I get stomach and lower back pains. Had blood test for it and got nothing, I think I have IBS.
Anyone relate?
>>35164373
I made some chicken the other day and I'm pretty sure it was quite undercooked, I'm just sitting here waiting for the shits to start
Just found out that my store will be closed for a month and I have to go to another store, fucking bricking it lads.
>>35164498
First time I cooked chicken I was worried about this. If it's been 72 hours you'll be fine
>tfw you see a job that you would be perfect for and have a decent shot at, given your skillset and past experience
holding out for a miracle lads, but hope's not dead just yet
i'll escape NEETdom one day
>>35164810
You may take the robot out of NEET but you can't take the NEET out of the robot.
I'm up lads. Going to the cinema later so that's going to be a treat.

Look on it as an opportunity, you could meet a qt there.

put this in the old thread as well, just wondering what you lads made of this. it's my first real attempt at doing a little music recording, but I can't tell if it's cringey or not.
>>35164614
You're doing it wrong. 0h contracts are for people with another source of income/activity.
They're great for mothers who only need a few hours a week between school runs, students who need the flexibility to cancel shifts without warning, actors who need a day job until they get that dream role on Hollyoaks.
They are NOT for people who need to work full time and are relying on it to pay their rent/mortgage.

Am I going to be okay, lads?
>>35164935
You should be ok, you definitely know when milk is off.
>>35164923
Also reposting:
>students who need the flexibility to cancel shifts without warning
That may be the theory, but in fact it's the employer who has the power to choose on the fly and not the other way round. I do know that I need something else as well/ instead but work is thin on the ground.
In fairness I want decent part time hours, not a 40 hour week. Shit talk me if you like, but I couldn't cope with that many hours. I hope to gradually work towards that, but I know that I don't yet have the faculties to manage it.
>>35164985
>hat may be the theory, but in fact it's the employer who has the power to choose on the fly and not the other way round.
Then you have a shitty employer. I worked for a call centre in uni on 0h contract, and it was great.
>>35164935
I can guarantee that you'll die within 24 hours
>>35165008
Yeah, I'm aware that my employer is pretty fucking crooked but it's a foot in the door into the industry I want to work in and the pay is very respectable albeit piecemeal. I just wish he'd give me more rather than overlooking me in favour of the old guard (who all have another source of income) and giving me the scraps.
>>35164935
Probably not. Say goodbye to loved ones just in case.
weyyyyy lads, gettin' a bit cheeky with the bantz!

Hacksaw Ridge m8. Not necessarily my first choice but there's not a lot on lately, already saw John Wick 2 and it's mostly to see a m8 from years back. I keep in touch with him regularly but rarely see him, but he's pretty /pol/ so it seemed a fair choice.

>>35165957
If you liked the first it's decent. More fighting. For me, the pleasure of it was watching the intermittent judo techniques he used. I do the sport myself, so seeing such familiar manoeuvres incorporated with gunplay and things was a similar feeling to seeing it all filmed in your home town. Other than that though, I wasn't so into it. Preferred the first. Just personal taste though. It's a bigger scale than the first, but I preferred the intimacy there.
right off i go, laters.

Why is indeed such a shit website for applying for jobs?
It shows me jobs I've already applied for on every page (not sponsored jobs, just regular ones), the "sort by date" function doesn't work, and when I narrow the search to within 5 miles of my postcode, it shows me jobs at the other end of the country. Also, half the time, it just directs me to another agency website that wants me to sign up there.

The gov set a crazy target for gps to 10 mins per appointment but it's basically impossible. Most people spend every appointment spouting useless waffle and a gp has to just read between the lines to decide what to do, we have one doc who makes the target and he is not very popular as he just cuts through the shit.
Not to mention the people that come in, sit down and have a full blown breakdown in the consultation room. They can take hours and set the whole list back.
>flatmates reported me to the warden for smoking in my room
>building manager tells me I might get kicked out of uni halls
heh
>>35166664
We have a nurse dedicated to triage, its a pain for patients and I feel for them but constantly screening out the retards who want emergency appointments for nosebleeds/colds/"feeling tired" or who just need a repeat script is literally the only way to make it work at all.
To give you an idea of the workload our practice has 8600 patients and four (4) full time gp hours. And we're the best practice for most of the area.

>>35166320
Well, I'm going to keep going with it. I suppose 34 or 36 would probably be ideal. Maybe one smaller still, I dunno. It's just the rotundness that comes with alcohol. Laid off it a couple of month now though, plus counting my calories and doing well with that. Had a Chinese buffet yesterday and having an ice cream for breakfast/ lunch today though. Still, I would think that counting the calories and factoring it all in I should be fine. It's been 1000 in deficit every day for about a month now I reckon. Getting there eh, getting there.
>>35166318
Ey up Len, building up my running again. Overdid it a touch yesterday what with being out of practice and had to pack it in before doing weights, but 4k on the treadmill is a decent go of it. Took about 25 minutes.

Thinking about setting up a seedbox. Anyone have any experience?
Think I might give up alcohol lads, makes me proper depressed.
I know it's a depressant and basically has that effect on everyone but for me it turns my depression up to 11. If I get drunk I can basically feel suicidal for days afterwards, it's horrible.
>>35167039
i gave up alcohol partially because i'm a sad drunk, but also because it makes my anxiety flare up something rotten (same with weed)
i don't think my body was built for drugs
>>35166509
Like. 30 hours in depending on how much side stuff you do.
>>35167039
if something is a depressant that means it slows down your nervous system, not that it literally makes you depressed emotionally
that being said, alcohol also makes me miserable and sad and i avoid it, but that isn't the effect is has on most people
>>35166893
It's never coming back. Legalizing euthanasia might help a bit, and alleviate some pointless suffering. If my dog had been someone's nan she would have had to endure days of drowning in pleural fluid, barely processing enough oxygen to maintain homeostasis, fed through a tube and with some poor trainee from the commonwealth wiping her arse every day.
It's brutal, humiliating, ludicrously expensive, and should not be forced on people. Especially people who are so batshit demented they could never understand it beyond the immediate sensations and shame.
That may alleviate some of the burden on end of life care which takes up a lot of time.
Next doctors need to be able to be more harsh. The NHS needs to be able to exclude people. It sounds wrong or harsh, but we have people who are abusing the service for opiates and/or benzos, everyone knows it, and we know it's not even helping the pt. They're also universally rude if not violent, obstructive, and utterly uninterested in improving or changing.
Both the above take up a lot of our resources compared to normies.
The other thing is "shit life syndrome". Basically all the robots, neets, low level wagies, living in tiny council housing on sorry estates taking ssris and diazepam.
Ultimately that can only be resolved by providing the common man with more agency over his own destiny. Forcing people to be a bit more selfreliant. Teaching kids useful stuff, shit their semi illiterate parents just can't because they don't know themselves. Small things like how to manage your own finances, how to plan a life out, basic information about how to look after themselves. What constitutes an emergency.
We have to deal with a family of genuinely illiterate gypsies who need every single letter reading and explaining to them like children. This is not time we have to spare, this is a burden they inflict on the rest of society. They could fix it with a couple sessions of night school but why the fuck would they?
>>35167039
I want to do this. I stopped for 6 months recently then got absolutely fucked one night I felt bad, now I get drunk every few days I feel like total shit most of the time.

2. The old system isn't coming back, unless you want to pay 60% income tax over 30k bong. We aren't banking on shit. Think how much political capital you would need to do ANY of this. We'd need to do ALL of it, and deregulate private care to the point where it can actually compete.
But everyone is sold on the ARR ENN AYCH ESS meme. Even the doctors are all so depressed, they believe in the dream.
But less and less people are signing up to be doctors/nurses with fading wages, more pressure, sorry pensions, all the miserable shit I mentioned earlier is getting worse. We are heading for the same demography as Japan. Maybe with the shift from EU to commonwealth migration it will be better as EU migrants tend to move while there home countries are bad then move back, it isn't really the same kind of transfer of human capital as past immigration.
The NHS is going to get worse over the next 5 years or so, and in that time there will be some spectacular awful thing like mrsa killing hundreds of people in some understaffed hospital, mass disillusionment of the clinical staff and mass resignation.
The only thing that is likely to kill the nhs is the doctors boycotting it en masse and insisting on a much larger private sector for people who can afford it.

your friends are ratty as fuck, and they obviously dont care about either of you. i remember when one of my uni friends broke up with his gf, she was clearly into me, and i basically ignored her because its ratty. girls often fuck their ex's best friend on purpose to get back at them, i always hear girls go on about it. there a certain lines you dont cross with a friend and this is one of them. its fair enough if its been a while and they ask you, but they if they getting with the person a few months latter then its just wrong.

For those of you who may have seen my posts before, I plan to go on a pilgrimage to Isla Vista, the town where Elliot Rodger lived.
Some time last year, I won about a grand from a random accumulator I did, and planned to use that to finance it, unfortunately due to a boiler breakdown and an MOT failure, the money had to be spent on more practical things. However now I have a temporary Saturday job and plan to use the money from that, which will cover it with an ample amount.
I'm currently hoping for an October pilgrimage

>>35169230

That's definitely why. Tinder is only good for big cities.
To be honest most good looking single young women are in cities anyway. Young people with something going for them always go to the city for opportunities. The only people who are in small villages are people with families.
>>35169230
I live in the middle of Glasgow and got 2 matches in a week. It was really fucking depressing. Might download it again, but then i realise I am autismo as fuck and don't know what to put in the description or what to say to people if I get a match
>>35169230
>am i really that fucking ugly?
Nah. It's the women. Quality women don't need to use dating apps or sites. They can get guys the regular, old-fashioned way. It's only truly shit-tier women who use things like Tinder, because they can't get guys any other way.
>tfw my phone is over 10 years old and doesn't even have a camera
>>35169264
There aren't any quality women in small villages.
Also quality women want quality men and there's hardly any quality single men out there - especially not in a small village. So in big cities they all use Tinder to try and find the 1% of men they deem worthy.

Employees add value, and are paid wages, the difference is profit, raised wages mean that profit is reduced, but they wouldn't have raised wages above the unprofitable amount.
If they go bust (never going to happen), then their competitors would just move in to fill the market gap, and would employ more people.

Its because your not accustomed to it, not washing much is actually better for your hair and skin than washing. you really don't need to wash more than once a week unless you work in a smelly enviorment or something
>>35170040
Do anon. Best move you'll ever make.
The UK is an island full of retarded monkeys who believe the world owes them something or are even slightly interested in them.
Life is vastly better on mainland Europe.
I'm on bed rest for 3 weeks and I'm so fucking bored
the worst kind of boredom, where you have plenty to do but you just don't feel like doing it
>tfw woke up less than two hours ago and only managed to shower so far
Why am I such a wreck
>>35169991
i normally leave the house 4 times a week because of uni and seeing friends.
i cant relate to the average person because my interests and mind set is completely different. robots are too far gone for me to relate. only people i properly get on with and relate to are a few close friends.
feel like i dont fit in anywhere. i have tried going to obscure places in real life and the people there where too weird and edgy.
>>35170101
Oh boy here we go again with the not washing meme. You don't seem to notice that people can't tolerate being within 5 feet of you because you stink of BO and your hair smells of the chicken fat you fried the night before.
>>35169822
Once every 2 days, maybe 3 if i'm feeling really lazy
>>35170040
No offence lad but I can see why you work in a warehouse.
They wouldn't have raised wages over an unprofitable amount as things stand. But things are about to go to shit in the warehousing business. Imports and exports are going to go down. And then what happens?
>>35170045
>pleb doesn't realise his life is about to go to shit
Enjoy mate. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
>>35170107
I already spend loads of time on the continent and life is so much better. Prices are lower, the weather is better, quality of products is better, and people can actually handle their booze, unlike the UK which is full of drunk chavs causing trouble.
I just feel bad for daft plebs who have literally voted away their chance of having a decent life. It's sad but also funny because they are nasty cunts who deserve it.
>>35170004
not warehouse anon you're arguing with, but look at it this way.
Companies that do shift work will pay their employees more for the night shift than day shifts. The work they do is the same, they just pay them more because it's less desirable, and harder to get people to do night work.
They reduction in wages for the day shift is pure profit, which they can get away with because mroe people are willing to work in the better conditions.
Employers absolutely can afford to pay their employees higher wages.
>>35170119
me too. I'm not normie enough to hang around with other normies but I'm too normie to hang around with the spergs
>>35170101
>not washing much is actually better for your hair and skin than washing.
yeah but you probably smell, and look like shit, at least your hair will look like shit. even if i decided to this, i would be known as the smelly guy.
>>35170135
>I just feel bad for daft plebs who have literally voted away their chance of having a decent life. It's sad but also funny because they are nasty cunts who deserve it.
Thankfully I got out while the pound was still good for something. Just in the process of changing citizenship so I can put the whole, nasty "British" business behind me.
>>35170158
Maybe they can. Depends on the individual business. But one thing is for sure - paying higher wages to a whole workforce means they are less able to weather a storm.
And a storm is coming in that industry for sure.
Do you think Elliot played Touhou?

It just so happens I'm not fat and don't sweat like a pig. only my clothes smell when I don't wash them, my body doesn't really
>>35170101
You become accustomed to your own smell but everyone else can still smell yoh
>>35170101
>Its because your not accustomed to it, not washing much is actually better for your hair and skin than washing
i think you're confusing not washing with not using too many skincare products
you really shouldn't shampoo more than 3 or 4 times a week and should take it easy with the shower gel, but if you're just getting in the shower and using nothing but water to clean yourself off, there's no downside to doing that every day
>>35170135
I'd wager that you are a Pole who's wages in Zloty terms have fallen drastically due to the exchange rate.
just got an interview for screwfix for next week lads oh shiiiiiiiiiit
i dont even know how to get to the place, theres no buses so i'm gonna have to shell out for a taxi there and back
>>35170161
kinda same. its not even that normies dont like me, i can put on a bit of a persona and get on with them. i just dont like most of the normies, and what they get up to. they constatly drink or take drugs. i like the odd drink once a week but with the normies i know, they will be on some drug near enough everyday.
>>35170198
you have probably just got used to your own smell. when ever i do a massive work out, and i have sweated a lot, my parents will tell me to get a shower because i stink but i dont realize it myself.
>>35170222
Wrong. I'm British. I've never even been to Poland.
What's an acceptable amount of time to spend at a families house when you visit them?
>>35170243
Eh? What happens if you get the job? You can't get taxis there and back every day.
>>35170284

>>35170573
i thought you said its because you dont like them, not because you have anxiety. if you have anxiety, that is your own problems, its not the normies. i suffer from anxiety sometimes but i dont blame normies.
Could be in trouble laddies, last night me and my kid brother got pissed and decided, just for a laugh, to post a fish through the letter box of a miserable cunt a few doors up, and when i say a fish i dont mean a chippy fish, i mean this one still had its head and scales and everything, so we did it, giggling away like a pair of fucking retards.
Long story short, apparently posting a fish through someones letter box is apparently used as a death note or some kind of "marking" by an Eastern European Mafia, and now the police are involved, oops
>>35170573
You probably don't have any confidence or self esteem because everyone treats you weird because you are stinking.

Why are normies so obsessed with travelling? Pretty much everyone I know at uni speands obscene amounts of money going abroad and "finding themselves" or inter railing over summer.
It doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. If I want to "experience other cultures" I go to /int/
>>35170717
mis read what you said. well regardless its because you suffer from anxiety, or have something wrong with you like autism.
robots are really not much different from normies apart from lacking confidence and being a lot more bitter. people on here talk like normies are another species when they are actually just them but with confidence and social skills. its everyone here, including myself that has problems.

They'll lie and say "I love meeting new people and discovering their cultures" but their real reasons are a lot more self centered and pathetic. I like seeing new places because it's fun, but I'd never spend thousands to do it.
>>35170902
I have to agree, im just not interested in most of the world, doesn't mean to say I don't have interests or place I want to visit, just for a day to have a quick look. but I don't give a shit about most of it.

If I were to do it all again, I'd go the apprentice route, uni is honestly not worth it unless your field requires it - I'm in software, and CSSE apprenticeships are opening up all over cause we're so short staffed.
