i watched watamote some months ago for the first time in my life. finished all episodes in about 2-3 days. it was one of the most uninteresting and mediocre shows i have ever seen. half the show is the main character talking to herself doing nothing or having autistic seizures.

I still like Tomoko designwise and for her chanmeme status, but i can not recommend her show. it was really underwhelming. if you were looking to find a NEET themed anime, you would be disappointed.

The manga is better, though you have to get past all the initial autism of the first couple of volumes.
Eventually she interacts with other girls and even becomes friends with some of them and breaks others.
