Do you ever think about old memes and feel sad that they're dead?

Not really, they run their course and I eventually get tired of seeing them. I've been here 11 years now and I find it hard to believe I used to be so entertained by dumb shit like longcat. Looking back all the old memes seem really tame and childish really.

Not even remotest bit.

*Not even the remotest bit.
that's when they get to be post-ironic memes.

Think about it, anon: Pepe is dying a gradual death. Some day, Pepe will just be "that frog," and a footnote in internet history that was marked as a white supremacy symbol by an out-of-touch power hungry old crone as a political play. He'll go down with the likes of the dancing baby gif.

No not really i kinda compare them to my life
short lived burst of happiness followed by a rapid and permanent decent into nothingness
then eventually forgotten entirely with occasional attempts to reconnect to the world that only end in failure so if by memes you mean my life then yeah i feel hopelessness from time to time that i drown out with my fantasies but even those get grounded by reality and the cycle continues.

It kind of sucks, doesn't it? Tame humor doesn't really do anything for me anymore which makes me really awkward around normal people. It's hard to make friends when they take it personally if I don't find their jokes funny.Memes were a mistake
i'll keep posting him even if everyone else doesn't
All I can say is: never had, never will.
ill go now.

In a way yeah. My family laughs at some really lame normie memes that I can't even manage to crack a smile at. I just think they're stupid when I look at them. Everything I find funny now is stuff they would find inappropriate or offensive.

Memes never die, they live on in the hearts of the children.
It's like looking at old pictures of yourself. In other words fucking embarrassing.
