I've got a drawing tablet 3 months ago and I've been practicing with it, mostly by doing draw requests on different boards, mostly on /v/.
My first few drawings made with the tablet were fucking terrible but I guess it was mostly beacuse I wasn't used to it since all my life I just drew on paper.
Anyway, this is my latest drawing and I think I've been developing a personal artstyle though my point was to ask someone who knows their shit for tips, how does it look? What should I change / improve?
It's not a great picture I know but it is the first picture that doesn't look like shit I made using the tablet.

This is Trielle, one of the characters from the story, from much later on. She became the main characters wife. She grew up on a seaside town and at age 17 was forced into marriage with an albino man who she did not love. When he was killed in the attack on their town, their daughter went missing and Orion (the main character) helped rescue her . She fell in love with him and they married. She ended up shot to death years later on a mission to destroy a superweapon that would have destroyed the tree city that she and Orions children lived in. She was wounded by a mortar and continued fighting, defending the explosives they planted and getting shot six or seven times, her friend pinned down and being forced to listen to her screaming as each shot hit her, with her battling on to kill all the enemy before collapsing. I wrote a piece of music to mourn her death.

Here's a picture of Orion, the main character. He was part of the story from the time I was 12 til i was 19. He had more epic adventures than I can even count, and was basically my alter ego in the story. I regret having him killed, even though he dies to kill the story's main villain. And to contaminate a biological super weapon to bypass the enemy's immunity to it , killing billions of them and turning the tide of a hopeless war. But I still miss him and I think about resurrecting him, by having his daughter find some ancient tech that could reconstruct his consciousness or something. It'd be really hacky, though, and his son Leo has already replaced him as leader of Sarengarth. His wife is dead, so there's barely any place for him In the world anymore. I just miss him badly. Its hard to explain. I really regret him dying.

It was inspired by me driving in Florida and looking out across the bay at the orange highway streetlights across the water, imagining it was Leo and his friends aboard an enemy ship in disguise, flying to infiltrate their massive capital city of billions, with towers miles high and light shimmering through the industrial fog, to the very heart of evil.

I too have just recently bought a drawing tablet. It's been so hard to try and not draw any furry degeneracy on it. I'm good at doodling but not good at seeing something through to the end. I don't have any new, completed content to show. I'm currently in the planning stages for a play that I'm going to write.
It's a comedy about two thieves who have just pulled off an incredibly ambitious bank heist and take refuge in a run-down house after their get-away goes awry; leaving them trapped inside with the police on the doorstep. They discover the bloody body of an old man in the living room and attempt to board up the windows but the police helicopters spot the body before they can hide it from view.
The police in their enthusiasm believe it's a hostage and have his safe rescue as their priority.
The thieves in their panic believe that there's a corpse in the house with them and are terrified because the police will think their non-violent heist is now a murder as well.
The media (in interstitial reports between scenes) will believe everything they can report based on evidence, speculation and unconfirmed rumours (escalating over the course of the play to the point where the news reports talk about how "two african-american muslims have taken a chinese diplomat named Sum Yum Guy as their hostage and are threatening to kill him as a sacrifice to their god, Allah".)
The old man is not dead, merely sleeping, drunk and borderline unconsciousness and everyone is too panicked to notice until he wakes up at the end of the first act.
Hijinks ensue over the course of the play.
