anyone else think desolate places are awesome? ive never been to one i just think its cool that there can be places on earth that are so extreme no one really lives there and probably never will and how there is nothing for hundreds of miles

I love this feeling. I've always wanted to live in the desert, because of this. Everyone hates the desert because muh dry and desolate, but that just makes it comfy. I just want to own a house in the middle of the desert far from any people.

I wish I was born as some entity who had human appearance but I could travel at unlimited speed to uncharted worlds and just walk around those desolate places and think what is the meaning of universe and life.
I like wide open windy fields when it's really cold and snowy at sundown. It feels like being on another planet.
I love it, especially sand deserts. The Namib desert is so beautiful. There's an appeal in eternal nothingness.
