And now I have a headache, I feel like it's because something is pressing on my brain, and alcohol might make it worse and make it susceptible to permanently alteration. Most common headaches are from dehydration, the alcohol will temporarily alleviate the pain but also dehydrate you more. A common sports drink is my go-to for headaches.

Maybe drink a couple glasses of water before you start on booze just to ensure your headache isn't caused by dehydration.
