Let's do a cost/benefit analysis:
Benefits:
>No stress or obligations
>Sleep and wake up whenever you want.
>Not have to worry about debt/grades/health insurance/getting fired/running out of money/office politics/relationship issues/retirement etc.
>Endless entertainment online.
Costs:
>No money to do fun things. (Although you won't have much time to do fun things if you have a job)
>Have to live with whoever is supporting you. (Not to bad if you lock yourself in your room)
>No gf and no irl friends. (Probably wasn't gonna happen anyway)
The benefits clearly outweigh the costs, and thus NEETdom is the egoistic option.

You could get kicked out by your parents eventually if they become fed up with you being a leech, and you never know what could happen with girls so you might as well try by having a decent career. At least work a low stress part time job if you aren't gonna try in life.

Tbh the only reason I haven't killed myself is cuz of the pain it would cause my parents. If they kick my out though that bond is pretty much severed so off the bridge I go lol

>fun things
Very subjective though
Fun for me is eating junk food and watching old tv shows. Junk food is very cheap, and piracy makes media free.
Things normies fund fun, like going to clubs and stuff are repulsive to me.

I am neet currently, and could be a house husband if I wanted to (already have a bf who doesn't know how to cook), but independence is comfy, so is a second income, and I want to repel shitty men who are intimidated by education, so I'm going to school this fall.

But what about things like travel or skydiving lessons or whatever?

I go full normie when I'm in old world cities designed for people, instead of oppressive American cities ruled by cars. I hate driving.
