Because I don't think anyone could read my post and have the reaction "cool!". I'm a failure at life who lives in his parents basement and is drinking alone on a friday night. (Well, a saturday morning, now) I find it even more unbelievable that someone would be interested in any way shape or form in how the day of a person like me went. I don't understand how you could possibly care, which means I don't understand why you're asking.

For that matter, the kind of day I had wasn't particularly unexceptional even once you know that about me. I woke up late, warmed up some leftover coffee, and read the newspaper. I fucked around on my computer. I sat on 4chan, read some shitty blogs and news sites, and generally thought about doing something but didn't actually do anything. I ate dinner with my retired parents (meat, baked potato, and a salad), and we watched the evening news together. I went downstairs and again failed to have the energy to do anything but surf the internet.

So if you wanted to read that blog post, well, have fun I guess, but I can't understand why you would.

I feel guilty about it because everything I have to say about myself is depressing. and I learned over time that people don't like that, and that if you want anyone in your life at all you need to not talk about depressing things because that will drive them away quickly. People don't want depressed people around them, and I can't really say I blame them. But that makes it a challenge when you don't have positive, fun, uplifting things to talk about.

Anyway I read a bunch of current-affairs stuff (not /pol/ crap, think more fivethirtyeight), some tech/IT stuff (I have delusions of being a sysadmin. I almost was, once, before I fucked up my chances of further employment). I used to be into photography and I still read the sites that talk about new lenses and shit being released. I should stop, since that, like all my other interests, was really intense for a while and then died off completely. I really ought to get around to selling my camera.

Second, I think sex with someone you love will always trump sex with someone who might be more physically attractive, but whom you don't actually respect and care about and all that stuff.
Third, sex isn't that important to some women. I'm not saying that any woman who marries you will be "putting up" with you, but I'm sure there are some things you'd be willing to compromise on for someone who loves you. Especially if they're physical things, because neither of you will look the same or have the same physical capabilities later on down the line.

Well /pol/ wouldn't like it but /pol/ is full of shit. The guy behind the site (Nate Silver) made a name for himself by calling every electoral vote correctly in 2012. Now they're having some time in the sun because before the election, they gave Trump about a one-in-three chance to win. I have three computers next to me, and I shitpost on /g/ sometimes. Only one has Windows on it, and I'd really like to get rid of it once and for all. I've been a neet for about three years, but before that I worked at an IT company. I was just glorified help desk though. I knew nothing about the software I supported, I was just a warm body that they could bill a client for. I got hired sight unseen because some guy in my class worked there and recommended me. I think the only reason they thought I was good was because I wore a tie and looked the part of an earnest fellow, despite being terrified, depressed, and sick to my stomach literally every minute of every day.

Course three years a neet will sink you in any industry. So much for that expensive education, I'd be lucky to get a fast food job now.

Believe it or not, I actually appreciate that you care about my alcoholism. I'm not even joking about that, either. Unfortunately, I was raised by an Irish Catholic alcoholic and a Protestant bartender.

Alcohol plays a large role in my life, and nothing is going to change that. Once I know I have no responsibilities, the bottle of whiskey is attached to my mouth. Unless I need to rehydrate, of course, and that's what beer is for.

You need a resume to do that just like regular employment. It's great for people who already know potential clients and already have a big portfolio of stuff they've done. If you don't, you'll never persuade anyone to hire you, since there's so many other people they can choose. I very vaguely remember the late 90s (I was like 13 then) when anyone with a pulse could get hired. I think that was the last job market like that we'll ever see.

Thanks. The etg test for alcohol can only go back as far as 80 hours so I'm good.

The shit part is I am in the best way I've been with alcohol in my adult life, I was a fuck up of a drunk for all of my 20's.

And weed is what allowed me to take the edge off when I needed it but now I can't so I'm drinking when I can before tests. I'm an addict for sure but weed is so much better for my (mental)health, but these are the seeds I've sown.

Some combination of validation and something to do, if I'm being honest. Also the nice thing about photography is that it gives you an excuse to hide behind a viewfinder when you'd rather not be somewhere. That's my MO for family reunions and the like. You know, in addition to being drunk. I suppose I shouldn't do that around my cousins' kids, they're all, like, six. Maybe one day they'll be asking their moms who that creepy uncle with the big camera is.

This was somewhere I did actually want to be, Death Valley. They call this part of it the Devil's Golf Course. Supposedly salts seep out of the ground and form hollow shells that look like golf balls, though I didn't see any.

This was in August last year. You may not want to visit Death Valley in August. It was about 125 degrees. On the plus side, the park isn't crowded at all when its that hot.

I wanted that hard edge of fucked up. But when it became clear health was gonna suffer I curbed the drinking and just staying with weed helped.

Suddenly I could watch 5 episodes of tng stoned and fall asleep at ease or whatever, instead of pushing it to the limit. Do what feels right tho, cause no one is gonna slow your roll until you do.
