Trying sake for the first time.

Im going to try it cold and then warm it up and see what its like.

Damn, wish I had something that heavy. I'm probably going to buy myself a bottle of gin, sometime soon. For now, it's wine - although, I'm already pretty buzzed.

I'm drinking some black pourover coffee. I'm feeling pretty shitty about how horrible I am at doing my schoolwork, which I'm currently procrastinating from.

Verdict on the sake btw. It was awful cold. It was like quite weak gin with a soapy taste. However, once i warmed it up it was pretty nice. Doesnt really taste very alcoholic but its only 14% Id drink this over a lot of stuff though. I reckon it'd be a good way to get drunk if it werent so expensive - 14% and i can drink this as easily as beer.

Black tea mixed with psychedelics? Had to admit, I was expecting an alcoholic drink. Any snacks to accompany this brew with?

Warm, id happily drink this. Im still pretty new to drinking im just a little baby boy at 21 so im going to experiment more. However, ill definitely buy myself some sake again but ill probably try another type next time just to see the difference. Warming it and keeping it hot is awkward though.

The sake is all gone now though :(

Yeah, I knew that - but I didn't know it was relatively weak, at 14% alcohol. I had always thought it was on par with other spirits like gin or rum or vodka or whiskey.

You accompanying your sake down with any snacks or food? Tbh, "soapy gin" (as you described it) doesn't sound too pleasant.
