who else here is living mostly /sober/?
>not constantly living on the shitty roller coaster of coming up or down from something
>saving my money gives me a natural mood boost
>low tolerance to drugs, meaning i can reward myself with monthly drug of choice and it will feel better than you junkies have felt from a drug in years
>no brain damage and neurotransmitter damage
>get a staph infection touching a door handle
There is no reason to be fully sober because you are going to die very soon. But I do agree that constantly chasing the next high is hell.

i drink alcohol less than once per week, usually only once or twice per month tops. its more of a cooking ingredient than a breverage to me.
alcohol usually gives me a headache and makes me tired fast, i am not asian though.
my father was a semi-hard alcoholic in his late teens and tweens, but hes sober for several decades.
i do not consider myself particularly intelligent, but i am happy that i am not actively destroying my brain capacity or other organs with outside influences.
