Why the fuck do they keep doing this. Why not get everyone hype for space tech or happenings on earth in orbit? We have a lot of those and no one knows about most of them.
The announcements from Musk are much more interesting than hearing what we already know and will continue to know. UNless an Exo is within reach why should I actually give any fuck. I'm going to die before we ever get to see one with our actually eyes.
It'll be the same shit when the newest telescope is launched. More useless fucking planets we can't reach. The data is sexy for them but utterly pointless unless I'm deep into astrophysics. I'm much more interested in planets filled with one specific material or close stars that'll possibly fuck my shit up but no always more earth sized planets completely out of reach for another 40 generations.
