I am too empathetic. For example as a kid I thought that I had to be like jesus and forgive people, people would steal things from me, kick my bike and things and I wouldn't do anything. If someone screwed me around or singled me out I would assume I was in the wrong, I would suppress my anger and frustration instead of acting on it, some teachers wouldn't even talk to me or exclude me from fun and games and I would go back to my seat and try to figure out what I had done wrong even though I was obviously being discriminated against. My dad hit me once and I just said "I can't believe you did that", I didn't hold it against him.

We are inclined to think highly of ourselves, but ultimately you have to rely on your faculties to determine right and wrong rather than be biased against yourself as a way of countering the bias towards yourself.

I have since learned that normies are not "good people". Because society is so hypocritical and amoral there isn't much point doing good for it. I wouldn't inflict suffering on others or other living things when it is in my discretion like >>35073535 . Sadism seems petty to me. Likewise if helping people requires only the wave of a finger I'd do it. However if doing any good requires an ounce of effort I am not interested.

My idea of good is self-improvement. I lack willpower, I am forgetful, I am socially awkward, I can't do shit until I solve these problems.
