My eyes aren't actually that bad but I do a lot of reading so I need my vision to be a 100%. I always compare it to going from 360p to HD on youtube.
As for looks. It complements both my face and personality thankfully.

Do you wear them at bars to or do you change to contacts?

I just dont wear them

Got two pairs but never wear them. I've got like 20/50 vision but also have astigmatism and nystagmus. Only have glasses so I can drive. Nystagmus fucks with the DMV eye test machines so I had have to get a legit optometrist to test my eyes every time I renew my license.

Im so short sighted that I cant even read my computer screen without them on. I have frames very similar to pic related. I love how i look with them on. Id be completely fucked if anything happened to them though.

near-sighted, but just barely. i can see like 6 inches in front of me clearly. also astigmatism. also red-green colorblind.
vision started getting shit around 6th grade, and has just gotten worse since (HS Senior now). actually need to see an optometrist soon, glasses aren't working that well anymore.

My friend is a dispensing optometrist in some fancy opticians, and i asked him for frame recommendations that'd suit my facial structure. He told me to go for thicker, square frames. I took his advice and haven't looked back since.

I still shudder when i think about how I used to wear horrible wireframes. Nobody looks good in those.

Contacts are ok for short bursts, in my opinion, but I can't get through an entire day with them. I much prefer glasses.

Have myopia since the age of 16. If anything, glasses make me look like less of an outcast.

Shitty eyes, got some decent looking armani frames. Not too much into the brand but they looked nice.

Prescription is from 2011 or something and it only got slightly worse when I had a check in 2015 or something. Might need new ones soon tho.

All I can do without glasses is use my phone or tablet lel.

I got my first glasses about 7 years ago and they also were those thick rimmed trendy "hipster glasses". They were alright, but now that I lost lots of weight and cut my hair short I got these new lighter glasses together with new prescription. The new glasses I have are also going for that retro look, they look something like picture related.

My dad had similar in the 80s and 90s. They look pretty cool, I wish I could grow a proper beard so that I can look like a 80s computer scientist.

In reality, I fucking hate minorities and I am extremely nationalistic. My intellegence level is above average but I am no genius.
