Travel around the US and the world, sail boats, ride my bike everywhere, raise bees, grow food, make hardstyle, make art, etc. There's a lot of life I want to live, and that necessitates not having to spend 40+ hours a week at a job.
Even if you don't want to stop working, just having the ability to quit work on a whim is pretty empowering and will probably make the work you do more enjoyable.

I work in a hospital with like hundreds of residents and docs. I'm in the lab, so I'm clarifying orders with them a lot. On the whole, they're a pretty arrogant insular group that tends to look down on other people.

I'd trust them with my life though.

Stacy doctors get eaten up and spat out into meme specialities like dermatology. Male coworkers, though they never admit it, will never trust them and female coworkers hate each other.
Eventually most of them get married and work reduced hours or survive only as diversity-hires, coasting through their job having their inadequacies patched up by male staff.

He's right though. Nurses often have an inferiority complex, and normies do not handle that well. They take it out by being obnoxious to medical staff. This is most obvious between senior female nurses against junior female doctors.
That said, I can confirm doctors are less than human. Their motives for becoming a doctor are greed and an incessant need to impress and be the centre of attention (in my case greed). The rigors of medical school breaks their character and their dissections of the dead remind them that in the end we're all just filthy meatbags. A medical graduate loses his soul upon donning the second pair of gloves.
On the whole the whole healthcare field is a toxic vile place to work in, and I would not wish a worse punishment on my worst enemy (and believe me, work has accumulated me many). If my son tells me he wants to be a doctor, I am beating him back into the computing field - I will not watch the cycle repeat itself.
