my brother forced me to go with him to a club once during college

I kinda had a mental breakdown and we left and just walked around the city for a while. We did go back after a while and he smoked hookah with his friends while I played on my phone.

I don't think I will go to one again, it was not a good experience for me.

I usually go to both with friends. But every time that i go to a club i am able to socialize with someone, i think i've never really did it in a bar though. It seems to me that people in clubs are more open to random people with random talks

never been to a club because it seems like the most anti-robot place imaginable. Loud music and crowds give me an instant headache. One time at the state fair I literally vomited because I felt so uncomfortable.

Bars are mainly for socialization with friends, not for meeting new people imho.

Regularly. I don't have any friends so I always go alone. It's a lot of fun and I always find someone new to talk to.

The couple times I've been dragged to a club I can never hear what anyone is saying because it's always too loud.

I strike up conversations with bartenders and random people. Clubs aren't so good, but bars are great - particularly the ones with smoking areas. Most people will be happy to talk, even if it's just for a few minutes. Occasionally you meet people and you can sit there for hours talking to them.

depends entirely on where, who with and when.
A group of friends, at a club that appeals to neither absolute chav scum or student tossers, on a friday or saturday night, nicely fucked on stochnya or standard and you should have an alright night.
In England the club scene is really dieing, London ofc is still a good night out but fuck buying drinks in a club, it's a sat out side the offy at 11pm kinda deal then trecking down to fabric or egg or some shit usually. I've met some pretty interesting people, and also been in a few fights, but drink depresses me now so don't do it much except for a big night out.
I'm ugly and socially awkward btw.

Clubs.Overpriced drinks, flashing lights that give even non-epileptics epileptic seisures, music that turns you deaf, women that actually expect you to DANCE, ugh.

Bars: Awesome(drinks are still overpriced, but whatever)

There are some crossover between the two, such as the Revolution Bar in London, loud-ish music, nice clientele and a bit of a dance area. Idk how people can get fucked and not wanna a little dance..

Used to go out every weekend, sometimes twice a weekend.
Spent years going to raves and festivals.
Nothing like getting fucked up on drugs and booze and raving to breakcore in a small sweaty room with 100 people you've never met before.
