You tried to pretend like it was just a coincidence but you clearly planned it enough to bring a hat (that you didn't put on? Why even bring it?). I felt bad before, but all of your drunken displays and the fact that you think that I was supposed to read your mind/just keep dealing with it on my own/threaten to break up with you to get my point across is infuriating and shows a complete lack of remorse, responsibility, and maturity. It all only solidifies my decision. Even the fact that you acknowledged yourself that it wouldn't have worked out "and that's why you didn't want to move in" but still didn't want me to break up with you? What are you even thinking? Please sort yourself out. I filtered these threads in the hopes I wouldn't read them but the whole scene just keeps replaying in my head and I get furious all over again. You made a huge fool out of yourself. I tried to be as considerate, understanding and kind as physically possible throughout the entire break up process and you just made an ass out of yourself. I know it's hard and it hurts and it hurt me too (although I obviously got a head start on the grieving process), but none of that was okay. I loved you in good faith, and all of the things I said to you over the course of our relationship were truthful at the time. I may have been kidding myself but I was never lying.

I hope you can wise up and acknowledge to yourself where things went wrong so that you don't suffer this pain again in the future. It happened to you once, that's your free pass. You let it happen again. Shame on you. Yes I broke up with you. Yes I hurt you. Breaking up with you is obviously on me, but the reasons I did are entirely on you. I communicated as well as possible.

I hope you don't read this, I just really need to get it off my chest because it keeps pushing its way into my thoughts and I have a midterm tomorrow.

Although it's sad to me that you're clearly not emotionally mature enough to carry on a platonic relationship after romantic feelings have been exchanged in the past, it does make it a bit easier getting over you knowing you'd be a terribly unstable life partner. I just wish my heart was as smart as my brain so I could stop loving you. I want to be completely over you already. I deserve better.
