Happy Birthday anon. I'm turning 34 later this year, the ride is only speeding up. My personal outlook on the phenomenon is that the lack of novel experiences creates the sensation of rapid time loss, whereas lots of novel experiences (traveling, activities, adventures) is a denser use of time and in our brain feels much more substantial. The daily grind of monotonous work is responsible for stealing our lives away.
