Dark Souls was a mistake, or I suppose Demons Souls was a mistake since it got this whole shit rolling. Demons Souls was great when it was released, but I still never understood the autistic side of the souls games that some are so into.

Well, I mainly use Pyromancy.
I love Power Within and some glass cannon builds.

And if we're talking DS1, I'm a big Claymore advocat. But I also use the Obsidian Greatsword alongside with Power Within and Sunlight Blade.

I have never had any issues clearing the games and or winning pvp fights. I just want to take it easy and have a good time, but its a non-stop barrage of "why did you upgrade THAT sword? Don't you know that the stats are poor on that one and that it scales better with dex? What are you doing?"
Like frigg off. Can't just play in co-op or have some pvp ganks without those nerds going full autism on me. But whatever, I got really tired of the souls games when 3 came out. So burnt out on those games that I don't want to pick a souls like game ever again in my life.

I have over 12,000 hours logged on DaS1. A bit of it is admittedly from sitting in Ash Lake/Quelana bonfire just listening to the soundtrack. I think I have close to 600 on 2 no friends had it ;w; and 2,000 on 3. I played DeS a lot but I have no idea what the actual time was. Never got to play BB since I don't have a PS4 but I want to so bad.

it was honestly the best part of the game

My brother and I played against the bots pretty often, since there were only two of us and four player slots and because I was a sore loser, so a lot of the levels I designed were made purely to trick the bots into killing themselves.

They didn't have any type of AI and couldn't learn how to maneuver certain types of landscapes so there were some block combinations that simply killed them every time they wandered into the map

thinking back on it now, I made a lot of really interesting levels... I remember I made over 200 levels at least, all fairly unique. I should boot up the wii and look at them again one day

I got dark souls 3 as a gift the day after I bought that so i've barely even played it :(

Because of the Royalty class in Demon's Souls, my favorite kind of character to make in Souls games is a spellcaster that uses thrusting swords. Velka's Rapier in Dark Souls is really fun to use.

But the kind of character I make the most often is a high-endurance quality build in medium armor with a straight sword or great sword. Then I put all my points in faith after all the other stats are where I want them to be. The Demon Great Machete is my favorite weapon of all time. Mowing everything down at +10 with Sunlight Blade or Darkmoon Blade is so satisfying.

I only ever played Dark Souls 1 and was in love with that game, but not like looking up builds online or into the online

I just loved the atmosphere, design, and story of the game

I did beat it on SL1 it was an intense experience

I've played every souls games since Demon's souls and it's really a poor man Berserk.
It stopped being good with 2 when it tried too hard to be something else.
3 is basically fixed up 2 with bloodborne elements.
They should aim for more Demons souls cause 2 and 3 are honestly disappointing and the whole deepest lore meme is fucking ridiculous in those two games
