for any games, I especially want some skyrim ones as I have none
Seyda Neen is like coming home.
facing worlds
i can still hear that bg music in my head
Do the Monkey Island games count as a map? I know it's not 3d but still... I always feel really comfy walking around Melee Island
>>35010708
I always feel at home in anything that resembles a xenomorph hive. I played way too much AVP growing up and playing xeno made me feel so comfy. I drive my friends crazy in 7days to die because we are digging a quarry out and they want to do it some autistic square by square top down shit and I dig tunnels out the inside of the cube because it feels so good to be in there.
spent shit tons of time there. listening music while dominating everyone at pub, feels good man
>>35010708
enb is a gods gift to humanity
>>35011461
i can't wait for ghost recon wildlands
>>35010809
Maximum level comfy confirmed. Seyda Neen and Balmora are the best.
>>35010708
I always liked HL2's Ravenholm. The spooky atmosphere and pacing, the clever use of the physics engine, Father Grigori.
>>35010708
eyyyyy textless posts aren't allowed muuhhh niggggguuuuuuu
ironforge is pretty comfy imo
>>35011342
>tf2
>harvest
muh nigga
We all started here, in this town...
>>35011730
My childhood in a nutshell
Bully: SE during the winter and autumn is comfy as fuck
>>35011798
here's the winter ver
>>35010708
Firewatch really had something to it
>>35011730
Fuck, now I'm going to be playing RS for the next 2 months.
Thanks a lot.
comfy music
you know the feel
I'm getting confusing feels from this, bois.
>>35011798
You can play this game on your mobile now it's so cool
I have autism but when I was young, certain maps put me in like a daze, I used to spend hours inside the beautiful otherworldly places. It was nice.
Phendrana was based as fuck. That music.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbbUv1hz6mE
I know Hitman is not a really comfy game, but there is something really comfy about the Hotel mission from Contracts.
You check in, go to you room, put your briefcase and go out exploring.
I like it far more than any theatrical stuff from later games.
I don't like super realistic graphics, at all.
Morrowind is super comfy, and other older games.
>>35011915
aw hell yeah, you know what's up anon.
>>35011971
really fuckin good choice too
Heroes of Might and Magic 3 + hi-res mod is pretty comfy
The endless hours in the Barrens also
>>35012053
shit I just noticed you said maps, idk
>>35012024
Are you fre*king kidding me? Hitman Bloodmoney is the most comfy game ever. Sometimes i'm on the rehab map, I store my gun on roof, and roleplay that I am an addict. I go to the balcony ingame, then I roll a 420lmao in real life, pretending my friend threw over some drugs, and i smoke, hiding from the nurses.
Sometimes I get really high, and play the comfiest level of all, the mission where you kill Hugh hefner, that map is amazing and I spend hours on it, roleplaying different scenarios, enjoying the view etc.
The new Hitman isnt the same.
>>35011461
Installing enb to skyrim was one of the best decisions I have made in my entire life
>>35010708
Bioshock Infinite atmosphere felt really good to me, especially during the ending scenes, it was insanely beautiful.
>>35011504
Is eso morrowind going to be comfy?
>>35012106
Yes, I know Blood Money is a better game over all, but the hotel mission from Contracts is the comfiest for some reason.
new vegas is top tier comfy desu. wandering the wasteland with the radio on is so relaxing
>>35012189
Yes Contracts have comfy setting too.
>>35012196
Fuck off faggot, underage shit
>>35010708
Skyrim makes me really comfy. One of those games I can just play just to chill out. Especially if you have good mods, it's one of those games you just wander around and enjoy the view.
Morrowind Mage Guild
>>35010708
as a child i'd acquire a demo of halo:ce
and spend countless hours on this one map merely, not like the others were available anyway
>>35011919
God damn the Halo 3 was amazing with forge.
But holy shit did the empty maps give a creepy /x/ feel with it's feeling of isolation yet being watched at the same time
Don't know why, but old build engine games where they try to emulate some sort of real-life location have always been ridiculously comfy for me.
>>35013137
YES! Glad i'm not the only one that got this. Sometimes I'd just load up empty maps and walk around on my own. It always felt strangely creepy yet calm.
Hengsha from Deus Ex: HR is top tier comfy
Playing some Komfy Space Program right now.
How do I get a SSTO into space while retaining enough delta-v to actually do stuff while up there?
>>35010809
Try Morrowind Rebirth and Tamriel Rebuild.
Mass Effect 1, the Citadel. Can still hear that peaceful sci-fi techno in the background.
Vault 101 in Fallout 3... still one of my favorite games to date with my favorite intro sequence.
>>35014231
Morrowind is the best TES but Oblivion is top tier comfy.
>chorrol
>imperial city
>wilderness around kvatch
>anvil
Borderlands 2 in Sanctuary...
>>35014385
Oblivion is really bright and colorful. I like morrowind moodiness and fog.
All of the Southern resort town of Silent Hill in SH2
I'll always cherish the first chapters of Warcraft 3, when you're just a young paladin eager to escort m'lady Proudmore and whack some up-to-no-good orcs. Then shit hits the fan real quick and before you know it, the whole city must be PURGED, and then you fall down the slippery slope towards Hell.
>>35010809
I never got comfy vibes from morrowind. I think it's probably the best on the series, but the way level scaling works in that game, many things can pose a very real threat.
Threat does not equal comfy
Also Seda Neen sucked. Vivek is where its at.
Halo CE
The mission 'Halo'
The silent cartographer
And assault on the control room.
The improved spv 3 versions are 2 times as comfy
>>35011610
I love dun morogh. First wow experience happened there as a gnome mage during wotlk (never experienced vanilla or bc unfortunately). The most comfy moment there was watching my character sit and drink to replenish his mana.
The whole Year 2 of Grim Fandango is very comfy and warm, but especially here
>>35011867
I always imagined myself as one of the old men in that game just being able to chill the fuck out all day in ecruteak.
>>35012545
loved gulch on CE. Hated that damn bullet lag in online play though.
One of my favorite games as a kid. Timesplitters 2 on gamecube. Loved the Streets and Chinese maps, and the 2019 neotokyo level.

>>35011730
miss that game. started as a 9 year old back in 2004 on my parents shit tier HP pentium 3.
it's autistic but I know you feel me
Granted, there is nothing comfy about Majora's Mask. The game is dark and emotionally wearing, with a few light moments when characters cheer up momentarily while ignoring their imminent doom. As such, the perfection of the serene paradise preceding the final boss battle is so absurdly out of place that you are unsettled by it.
Anyone know this feel?
orginakjglsdfgauuwwwww
sc2 is alright i guess
>>35015780
Gmod prop hunt was awesome circa 2007 before streamers and lets players ruined it
>>35010708
AOE2 anything with snow
>>35015896
gmod prophunt is fucking boring
At least play TTT were it's an actual game
>>35012545
Halo might not be the best games ever but hnnng those memorys :( especially that map
Anyone else /animal crossing/ here? I haven't played since new leaf was still... well, new. the gamecube one will always be comfy to me, though. it was the first thing i ever ordered off amazon
>>35014032
You dont pretty mucho, try to launch a ssto with jet engines vertically And fly It like a regular rockeymt
>>35016033

Snake is the best villager, by the by.

The Library, Prague - Indiana Jones And The Emperor's Tomb
Love this little place, want to sit down and read every volume there. Love the entire castle really, love to live there.
Looks quite like the Ottawa Public Library now I'm googling it for the first time since childhood

>>35015654
God tier taste my dude!!!
I don't know where in Oblivion was the comfiest... Bruma?
>>35016253
Chorrol?
>>35016253
>>35016275
the Shivering Isles?
what a shit thread.
95% of these maps look uncomfy as fuck.
>>35011811
>dry seaman
heehee
>>35016253
>>35016275
>>35016291
It's just too difficult
>>35012279
contracts is a great game but it's definitely the least comfy in the series. traditions of the trade is an exception because it was originally in the first game anyway. tell me that meat king's party isn't the creepiest shit in the series.
>>35016253
>>35016291
I'd say Bruma, Shivering Isles or Anvill
>>35012106
that mission was my favorite in the game only because it reminded me of die hard.
>>35016080
what game is this?
oregggo
Chateau DuClare from Deus Ex is one of the most comfy locations in a game filled with comfy non-violent locations.
Not to mention dat music
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uX0hU7jQ5O4
>>35016410
too many rude NPCs in Anvil for my tastes. it had aesthetics down, but I feel like Bethesda accidentally overpopylated it with dicks
>>35010708
Rogueport is the peak of comfyness, I get shivers thinking about playing that game for the first tame, best time of my life.
>People with nostalgia for the Halo series
Holy shit, I hate you guys so much.
You 18-21 year old idiots have been spamming that shit non-stop, and why? For a generic fps with linear map design and little mod tools?
The Halo series was designed to appease brats, retards, children, and redneck Metallica fans.
Kill yourselves, I beg of you.
>>35016540
Another shot, maximum comfy
>>35016460
In fact I would argue that anything running in the Deus Ex engine instantly becomes insanely comfy for some reason. I think it has to do with the combination of ambient synth music and highly interactive real-world environments
You guys should play The Nameless Mod, it's a massive fully voiced total conversion for Deus Ex that's literally better than the sequels and is one of the most comfy experiences out there. There's literally a part where you're hanging out in a bookshop where rain falls on the pavement while a character tells you all about rare Deus Ex lore involving stuff culled from interviews and design documents. The comfy level of this game cannot be overstated
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8EIyngnDGM
>>35016433
It's a mod for ARMA 3
>>35016540
>>35016606
Solid choice, but ultimately incorrect. Boggly Woods is clearly the most comfy.
>>35016588
>18-21 year olds
>appease brats, children
in other words, they were the target audience when it came out. i don't see your point
Rayman M
>>35016683
This level too, Paper Mario II reaches the comfyness climax
>>35016696
It is a shitty game, that is my point.
It was designed for children but it is a SHITTY game retrospectively.
You guys are retarded.
>>35016588
fuck off grandpa
the first halo game came out in fucking 2001
>>35016734
I loved that game. Never quite beat it though, probably should sometime.
Did you ever play with other people?
>>35011971
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ak_p3Oqov08
I like tallon overworld more. Fuck I need to play prime again.
>>35016775
I played it a few years ago, I don't think it was that bad. It had an interesting setting, good graphics, solid controls, and splitscreen is fun.
>>35016775
but whether or not the game is good has very little to do with its comfy-factor. it's mostly a nostalgia response
depressing thread famalams, so many comfy times on so many of these maps, yet I don't own any of these games anymore
>>35017079
In the case of PC games, this can be easily rectified
Currently playing Okami on my shitty laptop getting 28 FPS at some points.
Still /comfy/ though.
>>35011819
I want to play Firewatch just for its atmosphere
>>35010809
I just beat morrowind today, great game! Personally I think balmora is more comfy than seyda neen, although some of the Imperial towns are nice, it's just that I don't have a house like I do at balmora
Worst dark souls but comfiest hub
Time to build a carousel
>>35015211
This right here. I grew up on this game, especially since it was the only one I had, along with JSRF. The Garage would also be top tier comfy.
>>35010708
Definitely a strong contender for the most aesthetic world in the entire series.
This whole game was comfy to me, but Its just something about that blue/purple tint that just feels extra comfy
